DEADLINE DAY! Have you got your season ticket yet?

After trying online for about 1hr and unable to add one of our id No.s, I spoke to the ticket office and they confirmed to me this was the case it had been sold.

I did have a go and the lad said he would ring me back, which he did and all he said was he could offer me a seat next to me the other side if that isn't renewed by today.

He said that he would ring me with the news tommorrow morning. I told him that if that seat got sold he would have to contact whoever they sold me seat to and tell them there was a mistake because I want my seat.

Are you sure you didn't try to buy a half season ticket or something for this season ?

The renewal for next season is about half way down the page

I walked out of one of Dave Allen's fine casinos with £200 last night to if i bought one he would be technically paying for it. However I'm going to be living in France next year so wouldn't be able to attend games!

If that's true, then that is poor.

Mistakes happen in any business though, and it's how the company resolves the mistake that is important.

IMO the best thing the club could do would be to contact the other person and tell them about the mistake.

I felt sick, being thinking of renewing and then find 1 of the seats already sold.

I will be kicking off tommorrow if it isn't sorted.

Offer a complimentary free season ticket next to wherever they move

Also offer a complimentary invitation to one of the exec boxes to the first home game, for the person who's seat has been sold

Sorted !!

This is my 50th season watching the owls and if I was hoping to see quality football then all but a few years in the early sixties...few under Wilko...and the stuff played by Big Ron's team...have been poo ...if you want to watch quality football then perhaps wednesday aren't the team that they should watch...at the end of the day we are wednesdayites...proud of it regardless of who's in charge or what players are turning out for us...or else we'd be armchair football fans watching Man U and Arsenal with their shirts on in front of the tv.

Davey you must be a few years older than me, but I know exactly what you are saying. A couple of good years in 50 is what makes us Wednesdayites. BUT I have sat through some real poo in that time, but what has fooked me off more than anything else ever has done as a fan, is the complete lack of effort displayed by some of the players this season. Now I know many of them will be gone by August....but who will replace them? Who is going to gaurantee we dont end up with more of the same?

You can say all you want about real fan status, but I know what I am, and I know what Ive seen this year. And I know my £400 is staying in my pocket until I see the club start to match the commitment of the fans. And by that I mean the team and the board of directors (not LS; the other faceless twonks who turn up for their freebies and put flip all into the club).

When we have a full board of directors as committed as LS, and a team of players as committed as LS then my cheque book will be out. But not until. And no I dont expect us to sign flippingRooney, but I do expect us to sign players who can actually play football and will run through a flippingwall for the club.

If true this is very poor by the club. Surely someone (Chris C / DJ1) could take this matter up and try to get it resolved, albeit they will probably end up p*ssing A N other person off who now thinks he/she has got the seat in question! Good luck Barlborugh Owl.

I am just surprised the club have not decided to extend the deadline until league status is assured.......... if we would have stayed up, this could have caused a massive sales surge as well

You seem to be forgetting the possibility that we can still stay up and the season ticket sales can still surge, even after the first deadline.

Perhaps not to the same figures as they might have been before the first deadline, but the prices are only going up by £20 or £30 which isn't much if someone decides they now want a season ticket after we guarantee survival. A side-effect of that being that we might even raise more money by people buying after the first deadline.

Sorry, but

The club should give you your seat back and contact the 'new' guy and tell them they need to pick another seat. Anything less and it's not really on. How has a current season ticket seat been sold anyhow? Surely, on the booking system these seats would be greyed out or something?

My 1000th post supposed to be grander than this.....

At the risk of sounding like lee, in the past the club have bought poorly. Now there is a better backroom staff to check for fitness and it sounds like new signings will only be signed up If they are up to the job mentally. So I think you can trust that future signings will be better. Btw, I know this sounds a bit rich coming from a guy who isn't getting an ST.
