I'm torn on this one, I can't work out whether to renew my season ticket or chop my own head off with a rusty knife.

Its alright posting it on here. But people have to find this, send it to the people - text them about this and the united game. Today.

We are already looking to get an SMS sent today - hopefully around lunchtime.

It will go to everyone opted in who have not renewed yet.

Me + 4 renewed.

I can't wait for next season. I barely care about the outcome of this season anymore (probably due to thinking we're already down), but I'm proper hyped up for next season and can't wait to get stuck in.

Inspirational post....

That's the problem Jimbob,

LS has made it clear that HIS targets (16,000 ST holders) are REALISTIC and ACHIEVABLE.

yes , but not by the first deadline. after the poo weve been served up this year , 16000 imo is not realistic and achievable. unless by some miracle we avoid the drop and some money comes into the club , we will be unfortunatly well short of this target. ive got mine, cos id get one no matter what, but some people might not be able to justify forking out to watch league 1 football.

Lee's targets are realistic - if Wednesdayites, who could afford to attend, actually attended.

Though you might and a few thousand more do and good on yer, its not everyones priority to watch poo poo every second saturday, get a consistent winning team and the crowds will flood back.

This argument over season tickets and we need your support to get a better team as been done over and over, in my view get the performance on the pitch right and the rest will follow.

16,000 season ticket holders in 2004 for our first League One campaign if memory serves me correctly.

That was just four years after we had been relegated from The Premier League.

Even the carrot of investment can't motivate the fans to buy in this year.

It's fookin' crap.

Never gonna happen. This is our third relegation battle in four years. Constant defeats and constant crap performances sap the spirit. My mates have all dropped off one by one. Ive decided not to renew as I dont want to commit to watching third division football, which means out of ten season tickets ten years ago only one is renewing for next year. Some go occasionally some not at all. These are Lees missing 20k, and no ammount of rallying calls and ludicrous advertising campaigns (Europe in 5 years) will get them back. The ONLY thing that will do it is a decent team that tries. Get rid of the dross, bring in some players who want to wear the blue and white, allow us to renew our season tickets when we want to, and when we know what league we are in, and we might start bringing people in, instead of driving them away.
