Guest Briscoe Inferno
And will the F.A. do F.A. about it? Unable to pay their players over Christmas etc. etc........ CP will manage to the secure TV revenue for next season which the relegated clubs will miss out on and possibly send them to the wall....... Could affect Watford or even ourselves?......... Wednesday-Wonderland
Yes they've cheated, no 10 points deduction isn't enough for what they've done, but if we do go down I'd rather we take it like men and not cry/moan about it in public.
cardiffowl06
We go down and we go down of our OWN FAILINGS. Not any others. Should Palace be relegated? Yes. 10 points for admin is nothing.

I agree and I am firmly of the opinion that ultimately it will end up revitalising the club - however I believe that there should be someone ahead of Peterborough and two others from six or seven, in the queue. airborne_rat_of_s6
10 point deduction is not a very harsh punishment IMO - gamble with investors money and it does come off then you could be looking at a rapid return to the Premiership, fail and you can write it off with a small punishment and go again. Weren't Leeds hit with 15 points for a similar crime? The FA's punishments do seem a bit random in their application.

Guest
The way we've played this season doesn't warrant us to stop up, your final league position is where you deserve to be, nobody owes us anything, all this has been brought on by ourselves. SiJ
As it stands we are not good enough to finish above a team who have had -10 points, lost their manager, and sold their best player. But yeah its deffo not right

Agree. If Simon Jordan hadn't have got bored and stopped bank rolling the club, Palace would be mid table and we'd have less chance of staying up. Think of it that way. oh_weds_we_love_you
Come on, we've played ourselves into this position. Time to man up and face the music. ^^^^^^^^^^ Palace has committed their offence and have served their punishment. Wednesday only have ourselves to blame for being 3rd bottom. shez owl
Yes they have cheated any club who purposely fail to meet their tax liability while still signing players and trying to live a dream is a cheat. However it is the fa who are to blame for not setting a punishment which acts as a deterrent like they have in Germany. Palace fans are not at fault they have been hard done to by their club and have served their punishment. Is it poo poo because we are being affected? Yes. But we are to blame for our league position.(well laws and strike force) Until the fa get some balls it will continue to happen and clubs who cut their cloth will be the ones that suffer and their fans. In English football cheats prosper I'm afraid. The fact is we shoudnt be in this position in the first place, but we are, hopefully the players take their heads out of the sand and do something!
