18,500 sold and increasing!

I don't think 21k would be a good crowd for what's virtually a local derby (pun) and a relegation 6 pointer

I expect it'll be a fair few more than that

i'm not saying it's 21k would be a great turn out but to call it poor imo is wrong

The latest from Derby is they sold all 2750 by 10.30 am this morning.......they have put on extra transport and are urging supporters not to worry just turn up and buy on the gate......in thier own words "rams fans that havent been able to pre purchase can buy thier ticket on the day at Hillsborough as there will be plenty of tickets available"

I predict 22,700 for this one

Still a lot of people staying away.

If you are one of the aforementioned, would love to know your reasons for this ?

Apart from cost (which I totally appreciate), what else is keeping fans away ?

Or is the price really having this eminent an affect on the attendances

no they are only coming because i offered to pay for the tickets. The only people i associate with i have to pay for, friends, hookers and team mates.

I think they're is quite a few apathetic wednesday fans out there.

It have been 10 years of the same poo poo, which was eventually going to have a malaise effect.

This shower of season hasn't helped our cause.

People were hoping for a decent season, yet once again we find ourselves down a certain creek without a paddle.

Relegation battles every other year isn't going to motivate some people.

I'm driving up from Reading tomorrow.

More seriously, a lot of 'walk-ups' (such as myself) buy via the internet and print the ticket off. I got mine last night. This is quickly becoming 'custom and practice' so I expect the attendance to be much higher than that reported yesterday.

'Walk-ups' don't necessarily pay on the gate anymore but they won't go online until late in the week.
