jammyb87
Anyone see the few seconds of highlights on SSN then? WTF was Johnson doing, one on one with keeper and tries lobbing him, just rumblein leather it from there! Cracking goal though for them

Koren could have 10 of them and wouldn't come close, typical us!
Benjani
Great goal from Koren :( Haven't seen JJ's attempted lob yet, not sure I want to either. Edit* just seen it - he was unlucky to be fair, landed on top of the net, should have placed it though, he had so much time. But if Brunt's effort and Millers header were the closest they come to scoring before that then we were flipping unlucky. No more than half chances. blueandwhitematt
But thats JJ, we all know if he had a brain and a level of consistency he wouldn't be anywhere near our football club. Just take him for what he is, and enjoy his moments of magic and the fact when he has the ball you know anything could happen. Its no coincidence that we've picked up our performances with him back in the team, he is our only true attacking outlet these days. Dowie on Sky Sports said JJ was dominating their full backs to at times. He will be crucial to us if we are to stay up. Just enjoy him for what he is, and don't let his inconsistencies get you down because he'll never change, thats just his game. We are a far poorer team without him though, no question. DJMortimer
Brainless? Would it still have been stupid if he'd executed it more precisely and scored?
Guest bartos
Yeah proper brainless having got in that situation, not seen it but apparently had no right to find himself there? Maybe just maybe thats where his lack of composure came from? Like someone has said, we are better with him than without him

Yes he's frustrating at times but I'm glad he's back in the team.
tomhollywood
He makes a huge difference when he plays although he can be infuriating! I just wish it was Miller or FJ9 who were through on goal. I'm sure one of the two would have tucked it away Edited March 10, 2010 by tomhollywood
DJMortimer
^^^^ This. Yes he's frustrating at times but I'm glad he's back in the team. He scared Albion to death in the first half and worked reasonably hard in defence too. But he tired in the second half and when he went off our attacking threat went with him. DJMortimer
But he didn't so... ...it still wasn't "brainless".
Tawny Owl
He's gone for the difficult option hasn't he, especially considering how close to goal he was. Nice to see him oozing confidence tho.

Guest Darkus Owlus
The goal was a cracker but if you give someone like Koren time and space as we did he'll shoot and probably score. The team did very well last night, but I'd like to see us close down players and get in the faces more. No time and space = no time to shine.
