ReadingOwl
Hi, Sorry if wrong thread. I have finally been let out of the darkened room following Saturday's debacle. As it is our 'hour of need' I am travelling up to Hillsborough on Saturday to, hopefully, give the boys a hand. 340 mile round trip - 6 hours approx. I normally do it on my own, but have noticed quite a few on this site from the Reading, Oxford, Surrey area. Does anyone need a lift? I can pick up from local stations (Reading/Goring) or meet locally if required. I live in Woodcote - Reading/South Oxon. PM me if this is of any use? Furious George
Christ, would you accept a 3 hour car drive with that avatar? On the way back he'll remove your face and make underwear out of it.
ReadingOwl
Hi George. That avatar is not me really. It is Buckethead ex Gun's and Roses guitarist. By the way. The car is 'tip top'. Just had x cross ply tyres fitted all around. It will easily do 65/70 mph all day.
talon
Unbelievable timing! I lived in Checkendon until about 3 months ago. Drove up to all the matches on my own. Bugger!

Yes, that is a bugger. If only I (we) had known. Nice village Checkendon. Some good pubs. I believe Liam Gallagher lives just down the road from there. Goes in the Lamb? gurujuan
I was thinking of giving it a miss, its getting really difficult to fill a car these days. Gone are the days when we used to take a couple of vans up most weekends. However I might be able to drive up with you but it would depend on what time you were planning to set off. I have an hours work in the morning in Pangbourne but its just down the road from Goring.

O_D_A
I'll give you £20 if you push talon out of the car during an 80mph stint on the M1
ReadingOwl
I'll give you £20 if you push talon out of the car during an 80mph stint on the M1 The Reliant does 65mph max. After that it starts to overheat. Update - Still 2 seats left. Suicidal Saturday - Optimistic Tuesday? Only Wednesday fans. Be setting off around 10'ish. PM - If interested.
