Glaser
the left back and erstwhile miner Blenkinsop was originally spotted by Hull City, who bought out his contract at Brierley Colliery for £100 and 80 pints of bitter ha ha ha !! Do you think we would get 80 pints of bitter for FJ9 ?
Glaser
That article is damn right brilliant. Anyone know who wrote it ? Some right memories and players in there. Hairs on the back of my neck stand to attention reading a few of those !!
Daz
Wow - Bronco Layne's and Derek Dooley's scoring ratios. Absolutely brilliant. If only.

malek
Looking at list of all this greats (and Lee Bullen) really makes you realize once again what a BIG club we are. But where the hell is Peter Eustace on that list ???
Junglejay
Enjoyed reading that. Re Mick Lyons; His willingness to put his leg, head or face in the way of anything that threatened his team's goal meant that he was virtually impossible to get past, and he was more than happy to shed blood for the cause This is what really gets me about the current Wednesday team. The above costs nothing and does not require any natural talent. What it does require though is the right attitude and a great big pair of testicles!
