DJMortimer
I still wonder if the turmoil at Palace isn't our best hope of salvation. Seeing their run-in strengthens that possibility in my mind.

rickyp
from what i'm reading on here, they aren't going to get the inspiration for a winning run from the fans. as a fan, the worse thing that can happen is for us to throw the towel in. we are wednesday, we never do things the easy way. of course we can stay up. loads of ups and downs still to come. sheffield_dave
the worse thing that can happen is for us to throw the towel in. For me personally, as a fan, is that I am prepared to throw the towel in if it has become blatantly obvious that the players already have done. Say what you want about fans or their role in football, but the players are ultimately responsible. After this past fortnight, I am convinced the players have already given up the ghost and don't have the character or b*llocks to fight to change it. I'd love to be proved wrong but, from this group of characterless players, I don't think I will be. Personally, I can't carry on. I can't afford to keep spending £70-£80 to watch that group of "players" throw away this clubs hard work to re-establish itself since 2005. Guest carlg
After time to reflect, having some perspective on the initial gut wrenching agony of such a defeat, YES, we will stay up. UTO.
