Can Anyone On The Board Fund Loan Signings?

Recommended Posts

We have about 1.5 m pledged in season ticket sales .

What would be the cost of relegation ?

I kind of see you point, but, what are we going to spend next season, when we bring in these loans, stay up, yet have a lower budget next season.

It would lead to more problems in the long term.

It has to be new monies, not monies that are accounted for, for a later date

Surely there are some rich businessmen in Sheffield who are large Wednesday fans

you seriously think 20-40k would make one jot of difference to that performance and team out there today ?

You can ten fold that figure to get close to what ne need at present

It's worth a try, to save us this season! Something has to change, we need a striker for sure, and a ball winning midfielder.

So your saying 20-40k for a loan signing now would screw next season up? It would be far worse if we were relagated.

Think we need 2-3 loan signings to give us any chance of survival. Decent one may be £5k per week each, total for 3 could be £150K +. Cost of relegation would be well worth it, if we can raise the money.

How can you see his point but not mine, when we are basically making the SAME point?

no, his point about the cost of relegation in comparison

I disagreed with you about the money being spent now not affecting us at all in the future

We need to stay in this league if we to have a future though.

Will loan players put things right?

I thought we'd got 3 loan players in our first XI today. Did they do any good?

Will our next loan signing be somehow much better? Or will it be more of the same.

Fair point but at present and for the majority off this season the current crop off players have simply been awful and as off now we look doomed, for me we do need a couple off fresh faces but not at the expense off dipping into next seasons budget. If the worst happens and we do go down we need to be in a position that gives us the best possible chance off bouncing back.

The current loan players we have are poo ...

I have said before we got -

Song'o and Slusarski at the right time....

We got Kavanagh and Michael Johnson at the right time....

I think that time is here again....
