SiJ
I think Gordon Brown will tell you a similiar tale. and if it goes boobies up you keep blaming it on the previous lot. . . Seriously though to the OP. Do you honestly believe that we will hit our season ticket target? We fell a few thousand short last season and iam not convinced that this year will have helped. Russy
It's not difficult though is it? It's a crying shame that some can't be @rsed. For some it is. Plus I imagine a lot of people can think of something better to spend £400 on then potential league 1 football.
SiJ
It's not difficult though is it? It's a crying shame that some can't be @rsed. but its not just a case of that is it. You have different levels of supporters - from your hardcore to your casual fan. I'd say that we have a hardcore fanbase of 20k which can fluctuate to 25k. In saying that though you would still probably only have about 14k of season ticket holders.

BIG D
If only the football teams attitude and performance matched their wages we could all look forward to a great future. Its as simple as that. We have one of the lowest wage budgets in the division so you've probably answered your own point there.
SiJ
If People call themselves supporters, can afford a ST and have time to attend then they should be buying one its not that simple though is it. no emotional blackmail is going to change the mind set of certain people. if anything it will make them more determined. i think people generally don't like being told what to do. Russy
If People call themselves supporters, can afford a ST and have time to attend then they should be buying one Why? It isn't enjoyable anymore. For a lot they will buy the odd ticket and if it is good then come back and get a season ticket the next year. But on the pitch this year it has been the worst advert for season tickets in a long time. We don't have as great fans as many seem to think. For the record I already have my ticket for next year. Wednesday-Wonderland
I agree. But simply put, we don't have a big enough hardcore support that just go for the love of the club. After this season we'll defo have lost some floaters who care about results/what league we're in.

Premiership, championship or league 1 i go to support Sheffield Wednesday not the league we are in, if more people got on board more money will be spent on the team not rocket science is it ????
