Tea Baggins
Please, please can we all stop talking about investment? We have bigger fish to fry, like staying in this division. If it happens, it happens. If not we will still be here, together as a football club. BAN ALL INVESTMENT TALK/SPECULATION. anyone agree??
Guest sheridan's2penalties
We don't need to ban it, we just need to start winning games again. That stops investment talk dead.

Bit difficult when the "which division = what value" statement means that every game now has an added incentive.

Mr Farrell
Why would we want to ban talk about one of biggest issues facing our clubs future ?

Tea Baggins
Why would we want to ban talk about one of biggest issues facing our clubs future ? Because it has turned into a circus of bullshit and blind speculation. I would love to hear facts on this issue instead of hear say.
UAE-OWL
Why would we want to ban talk about one of biggest issues facing our clubs future ? It's not an issue its a possible bonus. The issue is buying season tickets for next years campaign and supporting the club we love.

Poor bloke seems to be getting a lot of grief lately about the performances on the pitch. Should we ban all talk about that as well ? It's a forum FFS, not Mugabes Zimbabwe. owls12
Why would we want to ban talk about one of biggest issues facing our clubs future ? Because it's tearing the fans apart and everyone is slagging each other off for having an opinion instead of doing what we should be doing as fans and supporting our team If people can't afford to go the match and support the team then fair enough but don't come on here slagging the team off and saying we have a crap squad when your finances are dictating what you can do and SWFC finances are dictating what they can do !!!! It's those who choose not to go and can afford it that should keep there opinions to themselves

I would hardly compare it to a dictator who is responisible for the famine, poverty and deaths of many of his fellow country men. Slightly OTT I would say. My point is that its such a boring, non-starter topic of conversation.

Seems to generate a lot of interest on here for such a boring subject. I'm not fussed about investment talk myself, but the day individuals dictate what subjects can and can't be discussed on Owlstalk, is the day Owlstalk dies.
