Glaser
If you were to watch our central pairing at the back tonight, without having seen / judged them all season and going into it with pre conceived ideas, you would have to admit that they were totally immense. Looking at it from that 90 minutes alone, they looked really, really strong and well organised. Covering for each other, winning header after header, throwing bodies in the way, tight marking, not allowing strikers to get shots in Full praise must go to Alan for getting these working as centre halves, showing them how to position themselves and read the game off the ball. Alan has also gave Beevers his confidence back and we are now seeing the lad of immense potential we thought we had before the nice bloke nearly ruined him PS: massive mention to JOC tonight. that guy is a class apart when it comes to dedication, commitment and putting your body on the line for you club

Wath-owl
As I was telling anyone willing to listen tonight, Purse was outstanding. Didn't miss a header and really mopped up everything. Some clearances in the first half weren't the best from out centerbacks, but I think these looked worse due to the midfield being unable to pick up any second balls. Glaser
Mybe we are now also seeing the better out of Purse as he is not having to worry about what his defensive colleagues are getting upto. Their confidence is breeding confidence in his own performance Not sure who deserved MOM tonight.... Purse, Beev or JOC.... too close to call for me
