Guest WMLEE OF WORCESTER
only 2 points clear of the relegation zone, which the four teams below having a game in hand. We'd be in some right crap without 15pts from 21 available! Still going to be a tough ride until May, and not so sure Irvine's 6 more wins stance will be enough give the teams at the bottom are picking up good points, Massive South Yorkshire derby next Tues - a must win game. Guest WMLEE OF WORCESTER
NO BUTS...in Alan Irvine we have a fitting successor to another scottish messiah, Paul Sturrock. The excuse ridden mentality of the hapless Laws has gone and we can now look forward with some confidence to staving off relegation. Irvine is right, six wins will do it and a victory against Doncaster would we very handy. TRUST IN ALAN IRVINE...YOU KNOW IT MAKES SENSE! W.M. robswfc
This league is always a crazy one and this year is no exception, to be 2 points off relegation in February and only 9 off the playoffs is incredible. As has been stated before, there will be a few teams who haven't considered being in a relegation fight this year, but count my words, if any team loses form from Sheff Utd down they will be in big trouble.
Dan™
The excuse ridden mentality of the hapless Laws I don't think that's fair at all. Laws was the opposite of that, he never used petty excuses when things weren't going our way. Are you sure you weren't listening to Blackwell by accident? Are you sure you weren't listening to Blackwell by accident? In the final weeks,Laws was hapless. Listening to him at Burnley now is no different to listening to his post match intervirws at S6. If we had't got shut of him and the tatical genius Wicox,we would be now all but relegated.
wednesdaywizard
What a league we're in! Beats the premiership hands down and this is one of the most interesting seasons there's been for a long time. 8th placed Middlesbrough only 9 points from safety. My only concern is that no matter how well we're playing we're still not pulling away from the bottom 3 cos everybody else is beating everybody else. If we keep going, we should be ok, but we're nowhere near safe.

Guest Kenny Ken
I think Palace, Ipswich and Reading are too good to go down, it's between us, Donny, Scunny and QPR. Next 3 games are vital, if we can win two of those I think we're on the way to safety.
web_owls
Atleast it is in our own hands. We do not have to rely on any other team. Edited February 10, 2010 by web_owls
Bluesteel
We really wouldve been in a mess, but thankfully we have got our act together along with a few other teams. Its not allowed us to pull away ourselves unfortunately, but if we and everyone around us keeps winning then those above us will be sucked into bother. I shudder to think that realistically we couldve been in the same position as peterborough. Edited February 10, 2010 by Bluesteel
