5 wins from 7 games, but...

only 2 points clear of the relegation zone, which the four teams below having a game in hand.

We'd be in some right crap without 15pts from 21 available!

Still going to be a tough ride until May, and not so sure Irvine's 6 more wins stance will be enough give the teams at the bottom are picking up good points,

Massive South Yorkshire derby next Tues - a must win game.

if somebody had said 6 weeks ago by today we would be 9 points behind leicester and the playoffs then i would have took it

I'd have taken just being out of the relegation zone. It's frightening to think where we'd be right now if we'd given Laws much more time.

you can either look at it that we are still near the bottom 3, or you can look at it that we have now pulled ourselves into the huge group of "possibles"

We have cleared ourselves of Plymouth and P'boro and have now dragged a hell of a lot of teams into it i.e. QPR, Scunny, Donny, Palace

I believe that the Owls look at it as "glass half full" as opposed to "a glass half empty" You are correct in your perspective!!:biggrin:

And based on the last six games, top of the form table I believe.

This league is always a crazy one and this year is no exception, to be 2 points off relegation in February and only 9 off the playoffs is incredible.

As has been stated before, there will be a few teams who haven't considered being in a relegation fight this year, but count my words, if any team loses form from Sheff Utd down they will be in big trouble.

QPR are looking most likely at the minute.

Our form suggests we are looking up rather than down I think. Can't believe we are still only 2 points off relegation though.

They are dropping like a stone. One win since they beat us on November 7th…
