Wolfmanjack
Who is your favourite Wednesday player, someone you have watched? For me it has to be Hirsty just by a whisker. UTO! FTB! Too difficult to call. There are so many. I'd go for the whole of the 1966 Cup Final team, with the exception of Sam Ellis, Peter Swan, Tony Kay, David Hirst, Roland Nillson and Paulo Di Canio, who for me is the best player I've ever seen in a Wednesday shirt in my fifty odd years of watching Wednesday

Plymstockowl
For me Waddle is the best player I've seen in a blue and white shirt. Favourite player has to be Hirst. Just thinking about watching the likes of Curren, Bolder Megson, Sterland and Banister as a boy. Then Hirst, Waddle, Sheridan, Walker, Palmer and Nilsson as a grown up. Now we have the likes of Clarke, Buxton, Purse, JJ etc no wonder we live in the past! As they say it's better to have loved and lost than to ever support that poor excuse of a football club accross the city. C'mon You Blue and White Wizzards!
