Guest geoffo
Not so strangely, supportive of the new manager. ? Eats shoots and leaves. Yep, sorry, I just mean it would be far more interesting to read a player slagging off a new manager!
Guest Blue&WhiteBen
Not so strangely supportive of the new manager. I think Alan Irvine is a great appointment for the club. Before training, we had a meeting at which he came across really well. It was very positive and he certainly had everybody's attention when he was speaking - and that bodes well for the future because the club have clearly appointed someone who is very hungry. left to be Preston boss in 2007. He did a great job there and, in my eyes, Preston's loss is Wednesday's gain. He is a gentleman and his coaching so far has been great; very enjoyable and probably something different to what the lads have had in the past. seriously, are you just finishing.... or can you actually not read or interpret text at all? latemodelchild
Sounds good that he's getting them in and working hard. Alan and the players obviously realise this month is massive for us. Hopefully we'll se a new manager 'bounce' type thing and build on that.
Dark$ide
To be honest, from what I've seen so far, everything that I heard before seems totally true. He is a gentleman and his coaching so far has been great; very enjoyable and probably something different to what the lads have had in the past. i.e. perhaps the lads are actually being 'coached' ?? shabbyhouse
I've said it elsewhere on Owlstalk, but the departure of Russ Willcox is a Good Thing. It might help to make training fun rather than brutal.

BRUCE LEE
Good read. If Irvine plays Gray at left back Saturday I would heart him forever.
