DesWalker Posted November 9, 2009 Author Share Posted November 9, 2009 I was really impressed Saturday.....by Sunderland.I thought they were very good, with no real stand out players. Just a very good solid unit, who knew how to play the way they were instructed to.Number 9 up top had a hat-trick within 30 minutes I think.Sunderland talked our lads out of the game, physically they over ran us as well.It's tough to judge our lads on one performance against a very good team, but I saw nothing to get excited about. As posted above, there is absolutely no way any of them should be near the first team. Or even on the bench just to make the numbers up, a first team squad place should be worked hard for and deserved.I was very suprised to learn we had 3 first year pro's playing as we severly lacked leadership all over the pitch.I'd like to see them again to form a better opinion.
