Moving your season ticket seat for a match

For the Coventry game I've got a couple of friends visiting, and they want to sit in a cheaper section of the ground.I've moved my season ticket seat for the match to the North stand, yet I didn't get a ticket. The lass at the ticket office told me that all I have to do is bring my membership card (the Owls Foundation card?) to the match with me along with the receipt and I can get in.Has anyone done this? I'm a bit perplexed as to why it's on the membership card.
