    Jordan Rhodes..

Felt really sorry for him tonight. Was feeding on absolutely nothing.
  2. Any idea on how you can get hold of the cd/dvd?

    Blackburn Away

    Great stuff. Cheers Sam
  4. I booked my tickets online on Sunday. Obviously too late for the ticket office to send out. Spoke to the ticket office and they said uncollected tickets would be put on a coach and there will be an away ticket collection point outside the away end. Anybody know what I should be looking for when I get there?

  6. Its not a Wednesday shirt in my eyes. Where do you even start. No stripes, blue shorts. I mean the blue isnt even the right blue. Weve messed this one up. Nobody in the world would recognise that as a Wednesday kit.

Haha, in respect of the forgotten blue cladding

If you read the full post I’m not saying that this does erode our history. I just think it looks poo for what its worth. What I am saying is that this idea of blind faith and ‘Chansiri can do whatever he wants as long as he gets us to the Prem’ is naïve and pretty foolhardy. Jumping on Kivo just because he doesn’t fawn over everything Chansiri does is pretty daft, isn’t it? Do you think these banners look good? I don’t, but I appreciate, however, that they will be making the club money. What I would say is that there is a line that has to be drawn somewhere on certain things and the argument of “but it is making the club money” doesn’t wash for absolutely everything and you need to be careful of where to draw that line.

I agree with ,Kivo. You have to be careful when little bits of a clubs history and tradition begin to be eroded. One small thing at a time may seem fine and then before you know it the make up of our football club has completely changed and you are not quite sure how it happened. Not saying that these awful looking signs are fully a bad thing, but those having a go at Kivo seem to be completely blinded and think that anything Chansiri does is a good thing. As a fan base it is our duty to stand up for the history and traditions of the football and also question things. That is how we all move forward united and in the same direction.

    Will Keane signs - OFFICIAL

“He had a terrible injury season before last which has un-workable his career up. Would have been a decent prem striker before that.â€

Im from Salford so know quite a few United fans and they think hes a really good player. Couple of quotes “Hes looked really good in the youth team, but we’ve said that before. Got a bad injury before start of last season.†“If he doesn’t get injured he will finish top scorer for you in the second half of the season.†“Good finish and decent technique but lacks pace. Hes like a poor mans Sheringham.â€

    I'd love a new ground

I cannot comprehend wanting to leave Hillsborough. If we move from Hillsborough we lose so much of our History. Sheffield Wednesday Football Club is ingrained in the area and generation upon generation of Wednesdayites have been making the trip to Hillsborough for over a century If we were to move to a shiny new ground we would likely be somewhere out of town with few to no local amenities (you wouldn’t have the choice of pre match pubs or foot outlets you have now, but would be limited to the stadium catering). I think of the traffic getting away from these ‘great’ new grounds, the Reebok stadium (amongst others) when only 14,000 have been in the ground can take hours to get away and the whole area is clogged up. I live in Manchester and it took me the same time to get home from Bolton as it would to get back from Hillsborough. Yes, Hillsborough needs some work in the guise of a new Leppings Lane End and a new stand to replace the Kop, but give me this over an identi-kit stadium absolutely any day of the week. Without Hillsborough we would lose so much character of the club and would be no different than Derby, Leicester, Middlesborough etc. I for one feel – rose tinted classes placed firmly on and disguarding recent history – Sheffield Wednesday as a club is special, it represents the area of South Yorkshire and somewhere like Hillsborough makes us stand apart from your average Joe Bloggs club in their soulless bowls. It honestly makes me quite sad that people would so quickly sell off our History for a new stadium with the only real benefit seeming to be that we would have a big TV screen. We can have all these things at Hillsborough and still maintain our history. Jeez.. That got really long

    New Home Kit

Love the shirt, but blue shorts has but a huge dampner on it for me. Black shorts are exactly what makes Wednesday stand apart.
  14. Deejay, you sound just like the board, "i know better but won't mention anything."
