  3. Meant to say you can get a Bus 3A from Oxford High Street to the Kassam. Takes 25 mins. (More time in the Four Candles if you get a Taxi).
  4. Ok, you got Wetherspoons /The Four Candles in city centre on George Street OX12B. Second spoons/ The Swan & Castle in city centre on Castle Street OX11AY. It's one side of the Westgate shopping centre which is 10 mins walk from the station. A better pub is called The Royal Blenheim,13 StEbbes Street OX11PT. The other side of the Westgate center from The Swan&Castle. Drink in town then get a cab to the ground 15 mins drive. Royal cars on 01865 777333. Cheaper than black cabs and NO Uber operate in Oxford. Travel safely and see you there.
  5. I think it is regional until the final. So in the Northern region it is the last 16, but in the entire competition it is the last 32. Make sense??
  6. Not seen an official Team Photo since that 2015-16 Season. I wonder what the reason for stopping them was? (Or living away from Sheffield, maybe I have missed them?)
  7. I was sat in the home stand, and told JP at the end of the game it was'nt good enough.
  8. I remember going to the FA cup game in 1984. They (OUFC)were on a good run at the time, WIlkinson's boys roll into town and won 3-0! It was a tidy little ground the Manor (much better than the three sided shed that is the Kassam) -I was not an OxfordOwl then merely a WorksopOwl; little did I know Oxford would would be my home for 30 years.
  9. Definitely going to Cheltenham SK, again will almost certainly be the home end.
  10. Just bought my Wimbledon ticket for the home stand
  11. According to the Third Tier podcast, Aiden Mcgeady is the best midfielder in league one. (Well according to the Mackham contributor anyway) https://youtu.be/5glyZOKlaUw
  12. Dom Howson saying both Sylvester Jasper and Tariq Uwakwe are both still training with the squad and will play some part tomorrow night against Port Vale.
  13. Don't know why but feeling confident. Already asked myself how I am going to feel when we stop up and more importantly how to celebrate.
  14. As a Student in the late 80's went to FGR to watch them play Halesowen Town. (Had a Brummie mate who was a Halesowen fan). Never repeat never did I think Wednesday would playing a league fixture there
  15. My Audio is now up and running. Maybe there is a limited number of slots available
  16. It wasn't all plain sailing....The Nottingham Forest 0-3 relegation game at Hillsborough during 1990 was heartbreaking. Luton winning 3-2 at Derby and sending us down. (Derby messing with us again).
  17. The atmosphere at Hillsborough in the first of the 1988 3rd games was one of the best I remember. Colin West scored with fourteen minutes to go, the old girl was bouncing for exactly nine minutes. Inevitably Everton equalised with five mins to go -Peter Reid. Didn't get to either of the Goodison replays but was glued to the radio commentaries. like everyone I went to Hillsborough for the 3rd replay with so much optimism. Well that turned out well; I can remember Graham Sharpe being interviewed at the end of the game and saying 'Class told in the end', what a let-down and possibly marked the start of the end of the Wilkinson era at S6 as manager.
  18. Playing on the Sky Go App -Browse Sport and select our game.
  19. I don't think any of us need to be remotely worried about the EPL; for the forseeable future at any rate.
