Do you think this team have the heart to roll up their sleeves and scrap it out away against league leaders and come away with a 2-0 win?

    In a word, Yes.

They’re fine, when there’s no expectation or pressure. Add either and there’s more spine in a jellyfish.

Yeah, but Carlos ruined him. Effected him mentally like, but telling him in advance he wasn’t going to Wembley. P1ssed on his frites, so to speak.

Fully agree with CC on that call.

Yeah cos that ended well. :duntmatter:

Please explain why the future existence of the club is at jeopardy by the current actions of our chairman? Genuinely interested as to what the “end is nigh” argument looks like.

And please don’t fall back on points deductions as really that makes no more difference than a bad run of form that could threaten the club with relegation. Are we in Immediate danger of not being able to pay our bills? Are we in financial trouble - real financial trouble not just being unable to by a new striker?

One of the possible penalties is chansiri being banned from football. So yes we’d be screwed.

I wouldn't say we are a bang average side, look how we played against West Brom, most weeks we create a decent amount of chances - just need a striker who can put the ball in the net.

I said after Wednesday's match, if we had Billy Sharp playing for us (as an example), we would be in the top 4 - it's a striker we need, the team wouldn't look bang average then!

We’re the epitome of bang average.

not much worse than the good sides and not much better than the poor sides.

Can’t fault Monk at all since he’s come in. He’s got pretty much everything spot on. It’s the players that are hitting the panic button near the end of games which are costing us

    Meh.

trying to Nick a 1-0 in the last ten minutes doesn’t scream spot on to me.

For me this excuse doesn't wash anymore - use the excuse the first year but he has been here 4 years and is still making such basic mistakes month in month out.

He simply has not learnt anything from the last 4 years other than taking a business losing £5m a year and turning it into a business losing £20m a year that has not moved forward, the players here when he arrive are in large still here and he has saddled us with debt all be it underwritten by him due to years of incompetent recruitment and retention policy.

There is no one else to blame for this than the man in charge.

If DC continues to do it his way, in a few years we will be relegated, the fan base will dwindle and the club will only go one way and that's down the league until someone comes in with an ounce of business ability to run the club the way it should have been run from day one.

What business is DC in again as I am wondering if he is in fact a businessman at all and in fact it is his family running his businesses.

He’s the only son not on the tuf board. I think we know why.

    Hindsight again.

Amazing how no one would have spent any money on taking over!!!

Remember all the jibes at ‘tight fisted’ Mandaric and the 350k jokes and the sniping because he WOULDN’T spend any money.

DC gives it a go, nearly pulls it off against all the odds. “We’re on our way, we’re on our way”.

Assume you weren’t singing that at the time at Wembley.  I suppose you were holding a one man campaign about the folly of spending to achieve promotion.

    Everyone’s a genius in hindsight.

Also would you not agree that the DC then isn’t the DC now.

Yeah, no one disputes there were mistakes (but for the right reasons), but he has proven time & again that he has been able to pull rabbits out of the hat when all the experts said it was impossible.

Soon as we lose a couple of games the anti DC mob reappear.

Not sure what people expect to be honest.

It’s not hindsight to willingly choose to ignore the rules and overspend on the ffp limits.

You’d think this amazing businessman would be able to balance a check book.

    “Not understanding how football works”.

    How does football work then?

    Maybe you could enlighten him.

Maybe you could get onto SAG & the council & SYP.

Maybe you could contact the EFL & explain the disparity of parachute payments against FFP.

Maybe following the totally unexpected departure of Bruce he should have made a snap decision the following day.

Maybe he should have set on Heckingbottom when you lot were all screaming for him at the time (or any of the other no marks who had won 3 games on the trot & then faded from sight).

I think Mr Chansiri understands football very well.

He has learnt in no time at all that everyone has an opinion (usually made in hindsight & changed the second circumstances change).

Everyone thinks they know how to run a business / Football club, when in reality they couldn’t run a whist drive.

Everyone is a financial guru having never run anything more than a second hand Mondeo.

You lot were writing him off re the FFP / embargo situation and he proved then, while you lot were wringing your hands & agreeing with certain Pod Casts that our best players would have to be sold to survive, that whilst he still isn’t perfect (who is?). He has more honour, loyalty & business acumen that most on here could only dream of.

    Doesn’t understand football?

    Oh I think he does!!

You can tell he knows all about football from the embargo’s we’ve been in for 50% of his tenure. Or by selling the ground to fund the likes of Urby Emmanualsons Physio. :duntmatter:
