  1. That’s why I never got the love fest for Lees. Central defenders are expected to weigh in with goals from set pieces A back 3 of Dunkley, Iorfa and Hutchinson will be as good as any in this league
  2. How could we have got over £1m. If he hadn’t renewed his contract he would have been off like Reach etc for nothing. It seems to me it’s a good bit of business all round and perhaps we should thank Bannan for signing
  3. Wrong I am definitely not a Chansiri fanboy, just find it amusing how a story that merely seems to speculate becomes the basis of so many responses. For example many are quoting financial irregularities and the accounts have not yet been published.
  4. How wonderful is OT A reporter places something vague on Twitter and the whole place goes into meltdown over conjecture. 8 pages so far and not a shred of evidence that anything is happening yet some have us playing in the National League already
  5. Ronaldo’s contract is up and Semedo has finally persuaded him to join the MASSIVE
  6. The one thing I find difficult with this whole issue is that these players are not employed by Chansiri. They will have employment contracts with SWFC ltd and that is who should be paying there wages. If the only way they can be paid is by increasing the loan from the owner then surely the company (SWFC, ltd) is trading insolvently
  7. Don’t know what type of career you had/ are having. I worked for a number of companies. During my time with them I would do my best and receive training and development. When better opportunities came along I took them up and joined other companies. It’s the way if the world. They probably enjoyed their time at Hillsboro and look back on it fondly but they have a career to think of
  8. I think the disappointing thing about our matches so far has been the lack of creativity and risk going forwards. Many lament the inability of previous teams with outstanding skill to perform at the highest level. This team has skill in abundance but to play effectively 7 defensive players at home in a sudden death knock out against an ageing team that can 3rd in their league is not a position that is going to strike fear into the opposition. The other half of the draw has all the top teams, which fortunate will not come across until/if we reach the final. It seems a crime that the like of Foden, Grealish, Mount and even Bellingham are not given more time
  9. Don’t disagree. Just making the point (as many have before) that the problem is not difficult to resolve
  10. He would only be demotivated if he wanted to leave and would therefore earn more elsewhere. That’s not a certainty. Just make sure he is paid !!
  11. The answer therefore is for DC to stop p#####g about and make sure they are paid. Incredibly obvious but if the players continue to be paid erratically we will not attract new players and the ones here will not perform. As the saying goes …..Simples
  12. We’re only losers if you think that £400k is really acceptable. It comes down to what you would do with the money. Can better value be bought for the same sum plus wages?
  13. And his skill levels don’t fit with the way the game will be played. He would be fine with a Pulis type manager. Good defensively, but once he has got the ball it becomes a concern
  14. Perhaps Season ticket holders who are waiting for refunds should apply for a Court Order. That could help to force his hand
  15. We have a Finance Director whose professional reputation can only be negatively affected by all this. Also a newly appointed COO. Maybe these people should be questioned as it is impossible to get hold of Chansiri
  16. My point about the Thai media is what it would do to the reputation of DC and his family which might get a reaction
  17. Given the nature of Chansiri, maybe an approach to some national media personnel/ sports journalists would give it a higher profile including reaching the Thai media
  18. There really is no mystery to this. Employees don’t get their full salary on time. They see 50% or so of their colleagues being allowed to leave with no attempt to keep any of them. Their employer is also not repaying customers who paid up front for a product which has not been delivered and who have received promises of repayment to no avail. Given all that if they can leave with 2 weeks notice, which allows them to take up other gainful employment with a signing on fee who on earth is going to blame them. (Other than Chansiri)

  20. It seems to me this kind of structure for a purchase is the only one going to fly. Chansiri must be under great pressure to sell as the club continues to rack up debt, which continues to reduce its value. The sensible situation must be for him to cut his losses and find a way out
