Not worth 500k according to some on here. Will have paid that back and much more if he carries on his goal threat and we stay up.

The problem is Monk not his signings. It is more than time for him to go .

Flight ? Should be a horse and cart with crowds throwing rotten fruit and veg. He has been an embarrassment of a manager.

Sudden collapses in form seem to be a pattern under Monk at S6
Hope the collapse hasn't started in October this year instead of January or we will be lucky to hit +10 this season. It now seems to be how low can we go.

Could be a number of reasons mate really
Could be 'here's a player - you can take him or have nobody'
Could be that Dunkley is in some way linked to an agent or deal that could land Monk loads of wonga (not saying that is at all the case)
Could be that he wanted to risk it and gamble that he would be fitEither way - the club's processes should be that no manager or chairman is ever able to sign a player with a leg broken in two places and metal rods in it
Thats them both gone then . Perfect resolution for the majority on here.

So you're suggesting that the recruitment team deliberately didn't tell Chansiri that Dunkley leg was in more pieces than a jigsaw puzzle?
I would doubt DC had even heard of him.

Come on..
Should a Chairman let a manager sign a player with a leg broken in two places and metal pins in his leg as the new club captain?
I wouldn't have thought so unless advised by others. I doubt whether DC hand picks transfer targets though as his knowledge of the game seems to be limited at best.

That doesn't answer the question.

Dunkley has been signed to be captain of the club mate - FACTWho has decided that if he wasn't a Monk signing. Surely the manager chooses the captain ?

Eh?Do you know how PR/Media works?
The manager's tend not to go to the press and say 'this is a TERRIBLE signing - his leg is broken in two places!!!"The topic covers all the signings , you seem to be sticking to one. I think it very unlikely Monk had no involvement in the recruitment of any of them.
-
So was Monk like Pontius Pilot and washed his hands of all the signings ? Dunkley was very strange but what about the other signings ? On the Dunkley point if Monk wasn't involved why did he thank him for his part in the transfer ?

Did I remember reading somewhere, that Monk, while out of work, went to Germany to study how they do things? I’m sure I did read it somewhere, and can remember thinking, kudos to the bloke, that’s pretty forward thinking. If I’m right, why on earth hasn’t he put some of what he saw into action? At no stage during his stay here has he shown that sort of innovation, or out of the box thinking. The nearest I think he got to changing things specifically against an opponent, was going with the double target man approach to expose Middlesborough’s aerial weakness. Hardly innovation, Wimbledon were playing that way years ago
Probably the best result of his stay , well that and beating Leeds. After that thr wheels fell off and have never gone back on.

Danny Wilson and Trevor Francis weren't football managers
They were football PLAYERS given a managers jobThink Francis record far outshines our present incumbent. Who with Jos and Eustace completes my all time worst 3 Owls managers.
