  1. Trouble is they dont and these rules are in place to safeguard clubs. It was only 7 years ago we were teetering on the brink of administration.
  2. Cleaning bill at their end of ground would be too big a hurdle for any agreement.
  3. Poundland Prince and Mcsowe shoes off protest in the stye car park. Then fight to the death to be the bacon king.
  4. Last time I had Bovril at the game i had squitters for 2 days. Never had it again in 3 years. So Bovril bathwater its all a no from me.
  5. The rules are there to stop clubs going to the wall. Not for owners to manipulate and accrue more debt.
  6. 30million doesnt cover the debt created in the last 3 years.
  7. You didnt answer the next part do you think these debts are sustainable and if we failed to get promotion what would the next step be ??
  8. Sensible in your eyes not mine. No other chairman has ever felt the need to sell the ground and no other chairman has got us into such a large amount of debt. I think the jury is very much out on DCs financial running of this club. I do not doubt his passion or his commitment just his lack of understanding of the financial side of running a football club. These kind of debts are not sustainable. Where do we go next if after selling the ground we still dont achieve promotion.
  9. The club has haemraged money under DCs control that is why we are under FFP restrictions. It is likely we will have further debts in the next set of accounts. Where do you think we could jump ship to because we havent got the finances to build a new stadium. I would rather steady the ship and keep our main asset than have one last throw of the dice at promotion.
  10. The value is what someone is willing to pay.
  11. Look at the Coventry City scenarios.Coventry were left playing in Northampton 30 miles away. They rented from a landlord who had them evicted from what was there home ground. Once you lose control of your stadium you are not in control of your club. Worst case scenarios I know but is a possibility and too big a risk in my opinion.
  12. The problem is it is the clubs major asset. Once you dont own it directly you are not in charge of your destiny. Family or not its not a path I would want us to take.
  13. Selling grounds can go badly wrong though. Ask Coventry City fans.
  14. Think its even money either way. Depends on who comes or goes in January. 5/1 looks good value without a doubt.
  15. Lived in Glasgow and worked in the east end of the city. Makes Sheffield look like Monte Carlo. So he should have no complaints.
  16. Sold us down the river . Great player but will never be a player I look back on and say he was Wednesday through and through. Think Paulo looked after Paulo.
  17. Todays display was a tribute to the work ethic and team spirit Bullen has quickly installed. It also highlights how badly we miss Hooper and Jao for that cutting edge that wins games . Effort sadly cant replace class.
  18. 1 - 0 to the Owls as we show are refound defensive ability. Wont be pretty but a win is a win.
  19. Maclean tells Clare it was the best and biggest club he played for . Clare tells Maclean he was bigger and better than the club .
