  1. just about making a quick profit, and a great ego boost. he's failed. think he has the money, just wants maximum profit. if he wasn't in it for the quick buck, he'd have invested heavily in the areas he's allowed to, like the stadium, training ground and youth set up.
  2. well said, should be looking for a manager that exceeds expectations on the way up, someone that succeeds without heavy finance. Bruce generally gets promotions because if you throw enough money at it you'll get there eventually.
  3. Not Bruce for me, always gets massive budgets and underperforms. Hull should have got up without the playoffs and villa should be top two. Our budgets going to be small next season, we need a motivator, not Bruce who cherry picks big transfer players and struggles.
  4. If he was my son I wouldn't want him anywhere near this club, as much as I love it.
  5. Nobody knows whats going on, but when you put everything together, somethings not right. Theres no transparency or communication, just rumours and unrest from top to bottom.
  6. Not saying he'd get all his money back, just cut his loss, the bet might look like it's not going to pay out, so time to cash in. Look what's happening at hull, although with promotion allam probably has already got more than his money back.
  7. Can't remember all the details but it was alleged that certain revenue streams had already been sold off. Sure there will be somebody else on here that can maybe she'd more light on that.
  8. Would be amazed if he gets much take up on this. Lee Stratford said that Chansiri had bought the club allegedly not realising that the family silver had already been sold. Don't think Chansiri was overly bright in his purchase, would be unlikely that someone else would make the same mistake of allegedly buying the club without doing correct due diligence. One born every minute though.
  9. What's different with us compared to hull. Allam at hull pulled the plug by selling all their decent players. Think we're stuck with him and he's stuck with us, unless he does like allam and strips us to cut his losses.
  10. Totally agree, but can't imagine anyone would buy us for what he would want, surely he'd want most of his money back. Would think it'd be more likely that he'd try to get back as much money as possible through player sales and assets .
  11. 100% agree...think unfortunately we're stuck with him though, can't imagine anyone stupid enough to buy us for the right reasons. Starting to strike alarm bells with a likeness to the allam dictatorship at hull. More likely that he would strip us of our assets than find a buyer. Although like hull he probably still wouldn't get his money back.
  12. Yeah I get your points. Don't really know what the answers are, as Chansiri just won't listen. won't buy the shirt either until we get our stripes back. Think ultimately we'll end up with what hull have got with allam. Maybe it's cultural differences, I don't know. All I do know is that wednesdayites opinions are not valued or listened to by this owner.
  13. I understand he's put a lot of money in, but I do think he's put his money in as an investment, thinking promotion in 2 years would have made him a vast profit. I personally think he's riding roughshod over us all. He's not interested in our views regarding prices, our views regarding traditions like the home shirt. That is what I call taking the Mick. I don't think we'll alter what he wants to do by doing what he asks us to do.
  14. Do you honestly think that will happen. Has the chairman demonstrated any loyalty towards our fans. Chansiri is playing this club's fans like a fiddle. A fair few are opening their eyes to it. Some are still sleepwalking.
  15. Your just not getting it. People being priced out don't want to just be able to support their club only when the chairman says they can afford it. People want to support their club when ever they can and pay the same reasonable price week in week out. If I can only afford to come when the club needs me, and when the club's flying high and doesn't need me, they discard my loyalty. How's that fair.
  16. I don't agree. Chansiri makes it possible for certain fans to support their club only when he says so, by throwing the crumbs of a ticket offer. By supporting his offer we are demonstrating that his sliding scale pricing will keep attendances up when the game is less glamourous/we are playing crap. I turn up when I can and the opposition isn't important as I come to watch Wednesday, but why should I get priced out when it's the derby/1st game of the season/we're doing well. By supporting his offer you're demonstrating his pricing structure works. I know your hearts in
  17. If the fans who can't afford the expensive tickets turn up for the cheap game. Are we not dancing to Chansiri's tune and showing that his pricing structure works. If Chansiri wants people through the gates he needs to offer reasonable prices consistently. At the moment it's like he's throwing crumbs to poor.
  18. Yeah I'd agree to an extent. But a lot of people are finding other things to do because Chansiri and his pricing is getting them out of the habit, doesn't stop them turning up for the big games, but once you start feeling a bit disconnected it takes a bit more to get you interested, like a derby match or playoff game. The only answer is to price all matches the same, at a reasonable price in my opinion.
