  1. I never saw an Owls shirt in a shop outside Sheffield when they were manufactured by Puma, Diadora etc. either.
  2. WHAT ! Have you never heard of the "Silver Surfers"
  3. Yea, Owlerton Stadium seems more suited to Covid19 testing. Much easier to arrange drive through in that car-park.
  4. Don't think so, not really suited for drive through testing. Other reports say it's a drop off point for donations to S6 Food bank, which I think is more likely.
  5. That's OK, Sonny. There's absolutely Bugger All in it that we haven't heard dozens of times over the last few weeks.
  6. I agree that credibility of any religion is questionable. However I haven't heard any Bishop, Imam or Rabbi claiming to be the son of god, or claiming that the Royal family are really lizards. (Although the last time I saw Prince Philip he looked a little ?????) My point is that Icke is IMO a charlatan who pedals his conspiracy theories purely for financial gain.
  7. Not talking about any religion. I'm talking about that nutcase David Icke and his half-wit followers.
  8. Yea, two or three headlines on there claiming Bannan's liking for Brentford. All published by "Football League World" weblog. About as reliable as 'HITC'
  9. Yea but Icke's always got a bee in his bonnet about something. Let's face it, 10 years ago he was telling us that he is the son of god Now he tells us :- that when we finally have a vaccine to combat Covid19 it will also contain nanotechnology which will enable the government to control the population. The world is run by reptiles and the Royal family are lizards. The most frightening thing is that he has thousands of followers who apparently believe his crackpot ramblings.
  10. Well obviously the top group. It;s got two Derbys in it
  11. Showed plenty of potential but was sold to soon without being given the opportunity to develope into a top class striker with us. Big mistake by Chris Turner (?), given the chance I'm sure he would have gone on to fill your username.
  12. This is Owlstalk. You'll get used to it.
  13. Yea it's still the "Cottage" but I don't remember it ever changing its name, could be wrong though. Finished up in there on the very first date with the missus. Never been in the place since. (true story)
  14. Where abouts was that? Lived in Crookes/Walkley area all my life but can't recall "The Walkley Tavern" Maybe "The Walkley Cottage"?
  15. Just had a txt from my daughter telling me she had backed the winner. "How the bloody hell did you pick that out" says me. Well just look at it's name she says. Feck me !!! POTTERS CORNER !!!!!!!
  16. Didn't K8 logo appear on the shirts instead of 'Chansiri' for the pre-season friendly against Espanyol? Thought at the time that we had got a "proper" shirt sponsor for this season.
  17. Scrap this season altogether. Start a new season next August (or whenever possible) but:- Teams to start the new season with the points they have at the moment. This would preserve some fairness for the teams doing well at the moment, allowing them to start the new season with the same advantage that they hold at present. Likewise teams not doing so well (like us at the moment) would still have it all to do. Not ideal I know, but at least it would avoid an extension of this season, to who knows when, causing further ongoing disruption to next seasons league, European and World cup competitions.
  18. I'm pretty sure that these are the original shareholder match day passes. IIRC these passes admitted the shareholder plus one juvenile, I seem to remember seeing a row of kids behind the South Stand hoping to be taken in by one of the 'wealthy' When I was a lad (long time ago) the father of one of my mates was friendly with an original shareholder and if, for any reason, he wasn't going to the game he used to lend him the token. So off we would go with the token securely chained to my mates belt and him threatened with the good hiding of his life if he lost it.
  19. Hated that Terry Henfleet. Can't remember him having one decent game all the time he played for us.
  20. Possibly due to a serious ankle injury picked up last September, followed by another serious injury to the same ankle on Boxing day for which he required surgery.
