Let’s ban this rubbish now. Because posters like this obviously have no clue of the context and long term effects this has on our football club

So to be clear, you want anyone who does not agree with you and your opinion to be banned.  Not generally the idea of a discussion forum, but hey might catch on.

I don’t know what the situation is in Thailand but it might not be as simple as that. Some countries put in place capital controls which would prohibit their banks transferring to foreign banks.

No idea if that’s anything to do with it though

Wouldn't have thought so. For some one like DC and TUF, they would be used to moving millions of pounds around. Its not like the monthly wages run is a surprise. Looks like cash flow issues every time.

  3. If true, absolutely scandalous again. OK they get paid well and performances are dire. However, they just like any other worker have a right to be paid as per their contract and on time.

Just don't get this problems getting money in to the country rubbish. Bank transfers work just fine wherever you are, only an issue if you don't have the money to transfer.

Why would an out of contract player risk injury when not been paid, when could cost him a new club?

Not disagreeing with most of what you say, but it wasn’t a must win game was it? We didn’t win and we’re still in the hunt.

It was a must not lose game.

Next Saturday is a definite must win game (unless Rovrum win on Tuesday) so a performance like today’s will be unforgivable.

Think it would have made things better if we had at least scored a goal, goal difference may be important.

The current situation is MUCH worse than 76. Back then, had we gone down to Div 4 there was every chance that, as with the Grunters five years later,  we’d have come straight back up and used it as a springboard. It would have been horrible but not a car crash.

This time around, given Tuna Man’s beligerent incompetence, the club’s structure, the ground sale, the ticket prices, the spending cap, the crap squad and the recruitment policy, plus the huge drop in income streams, we would find Div 3 a potential disaster. In 76 the club did have some semblance of structure upon which to rebuild, now it hasn’t. It’s a whole different ball game. Our Lowest Ebb may still be to come.

That said, we’re not going down anyrooads.

Do think your Dislike for DC , is clouding your thoughts. 76 was much worse, looks.like we already have a managet who has a plan, let's not give up before he has had a chance eh.

Ajax fans love doing an entrada. They gather outside the stadium and support their team. Over here no one cares like that.

There a good bunch Ajax. Been a few times, always welcoming.

  7. He was a very short sighted appointment, can't see why anyone thought he would be a good manager. Just doesn't seem cut out for it and does he need the hassle. If he needed to get out of the house should have took up golf.

Yeah, I’m sure he’s moving straight onto the Bransholme estate.

Lots of places east Hull that make most of Sheffield look like Hiroshima late August 1945.

Very Touchy..its a generalisation, wasn't doing a housing comparison BTW.

Overall I would certainly rather live in Sheffield.

I can remember when we had season ticket holders in West stand upper, I think we stopped selling them after 80-81 season when the few hundred season ticket holders were having problems with stand being full of Newcastle fans first game of season.

Used to love the West stand when home fans could go in it.

Used to have a fence on the  concourse went over the refreshment bar counter. Seem to remember being in there as late as 83 as a kid.

If we do, we would start next season with the worst squad ever assembled for the Championship. We would (unbelievably) have a season worse than this one.

We will be in League 1 for certain, either this year or next, so let’s get started on the rebuild sooner rather than later. We haven’t hit the bottom yet.

Why would we start with the worst squad ever, though we were losing at least 9 players. Couldn't get worse.

Moore has had virtually no time to work with the team and he has many players that dont want to play for us. When the clear out has taken place and we have a squad of players who are willing to run through walls for the owls , rather than players like Reach, then we can move forward. I beleive it this management

Think Moore deserves a chance, unless there is some outstanding proven manager knocking on DCs door for the opportunity to manage us.

It's more about the attitude and quality of the current set of players. Give him 10 games in LG1 if not in top 6 pull the plug.

But to say otherwise in the press conference is just insulting the supporters who have watched the game and seen the  team put in a spineless, pathetic performance.

Yes, if we were rubbish just say it, OK can then say we will work harder to put it right next t week. Just be honest with the supporters.

    what can he say

Bit of honesty wouldn't go a miss. Seemed reluctant to say we played poorly...if he had come out and said the players were a shambles today and that performance was not good enough. I would have had some more faith that they know what they are doing.

Why is it so hard for coaches to be honest? Sure these grown men who play football can take some criticism when they don't perform again.
