  1. Probably written in the stars, aside from the Bristol game, been on a dire run since Christmas and hammering a team 3-0 today. Hope we did him proud.
  2. Typically no mention of his time and success with us on Sky Sports News
  3. Sadly too young to remember his managerial reign, but my Dad always told me what a fantastic manager and character he was. RIP
  4. Sounds a posh stadium... We are bringing a lot of **** with us, 4-0 to the Wednesday
  5. I agree. I think the biggest mistake was not having an experienced group of advisors/Director of football etc when he arrived. People knew that he had no background in the game and the club didn’t really acknowledge this, but we simply just let him chuck money left right and centre which has now come back to bite us. Once the EFL has delivered it’s verdict, chansiri staying will leave us in a much better position than him simply walking out. As a shrewd businessman I can see him learning by the mistakes and hopefully taking the right course of action to ensure we don’t end up in the same position again, but also to have another crack at promotion within the next 5 seasons.
  6. Can’t say I’m surprised... Prior to lockdown, he’s not started many games over the last couple of seasons and has been thrown in since the restart. It’s a shame, and I’m glad we offered him an extension but unfortunately we will have to play Pelupessy- just shows our lack of depth. If bannan picks up an injury between now and the end of the season we are fecked
  7. Nothing wrong with Plymouth, I just think that we would be more of an attractive proposition however this would be dependent on how things go in the summer e.g surviving relegation/restructuring of the club/new owner
  8. There has to be someone better surely. If we stay up, go absolutely all out for Chris Hughton. If we go down, Ryan Lowe. He’s done a fantastic job at Plymouth and he’d be stupid to stay there ahead of joining a club like ours. What’s Chris Coleman up to these days? I know he didn’t do magnificently at Sunderland, but wasn’t backed and that club faced even greater challenges than us. Not to mention he did a fantastic job with Wales.
  9. Try and flog: - Bannan, just because i really can’t see him wanting to play in league 1 as he’s one of the best midfielders in the championship - Rhodes, been nothing but a disappointment whilst he’s been here but there has to be one club that thinks they could get him scoring again. Plus on big wages - Westwood. Again wages, and I can trust Wildsmith, especially at league 1 level and to some extent in this division - Reach. Monk seems to have lost faith in him and he’s never really proven his ability in a particular position - Tom lees. Hasn’t been great this season, been a good servant but I think we could get a decent price for him Players I would really want to keep, but may be difficult at League 1 level: - Murphy - Iorfa - Harris - Wickam - Borner Players I would really want go get rid of: - Pelupessy - Rhodes - Big Dave Running out of space for others!!
  10. That dean hughes looks about 12 and probably plays fifa all day with no clue about recuitment...
  11. Can’t understand why we play Pelupessy instead of Hunt. Everytime he gets the ball its just the same backwards/horizontal play and zero creativity. Whos decision was it to sign him...
  12. I rate Wildsmith much more than Dawson, but certainly aren’t helped by what’s in front of them. It’s crazy how many goals we concede because i genuinely rate Borner and Iorfa, and I think many others do. Have we been missing Tom Lees?
  13. Agree mostly, but who else is he supposed to select? To be fair Monk didn’t have a choice picking Pelupessy, Lee injured
  14. People keep saying this, but what players currently under contract are we actually supposed to get rid of? First of all who wants to buy them, second of all our squad is down to the bare bones. For me, when they decided to extend pelupessys contract that was a signal the club new they were really struggling. Will we be able to keep bannan? When he isn’t involved we have no one capable of stringing decent passes together.
  15. How many times were we caught out tonight? I love Borner, and he should have had a goal, but I thought he was far too forward and we were always chasing back. We can moan all we want about the disallowed goal, and Stockley that maybe could have been sent off, but caused our own downfall. Don’t have the stats to hand, but we must be up there with points lost after scoring first, absolutely ridiculous. Cant wait for the season to end. Monk out, Bullen out.
  16. Whats happened to Urgohide? Seems to have vanished off the scene
  17. Depends on the formation. I think Da Cruz would be more effective in a front three, he’s not an out and out striker like wickam. Everyone was probably hoping that Rhodes might have come out the otherside of lockdown a better player, but 4 games in I’m still not convinced - regardless of the formation. All monk needs to do is find out the best formation that is suited to the players we have, as opposed to being stubborn and playing what might he deemed as the other players with the most ‘technical abilty’ in any formation.
  18. We’ve probably not had to say this many times recently, but it genuinely is a must win. We have had this cloud hovering over us for far too long now and it’s only matter of time before it starts to pour, and quite heavily as well. Up the owls
  19. If its Ifollow then it’s illegal (apparently)... Just don’t create an event on Facebook in order to keep the snitches away. Id be fully behind it, but it be down to the decisions of the individuals running the pubs.
  20. Why the hell is this taking so long??!! All we want as fans is clarification, good or bad.
  21. By ‘it wouldn’t look good’ do you mean ‘we definitely shouldn’t spend big in order to avoid further drama down the line... But probably will anyway cause DC doesn’t know what the fek he is doing’?
