I'll remember Hutchinson as a soldier and a leader, and will be greatly missed. I hope he stays with Wednesday in one capacity or other and I wouldn't complain if he goes into iFollow commentary.

I think we have a duty to do some positive gesture for Hutchinson at the next event whether he's present or not. I hate to think that he'll be leaving us as the one who made the big mistake, and not as the one who always went above and beyond the call and led the team for years.

Sam Hutchinson, First of his Name, Scourge of Referees, Destroyer of Arsenal, Herald of Play-Off Campaigns, Forger of Bad Nicknames.

Wednesdayites - Rise and be counted

He's not a hero. He served the club with passion and dedication, but it's time for him to move away. He's too slow in the defensive set-up to prevent mistakes that leads to goals for the opposition. Thank you Hutch for your dedication, but time is not on your side.

Maybe as a player but I think he still has a lot to offer.

I personally would look to a coaching role, to instill his enthusiasm and knowledge into younger and new players coming in.

    That's an idea worth considering.

    See my comments to Neil

I see where you are coming from, but the squad we have now we won't have next season.

So imo let's bring someone in who can actually motivate the squad and get them playing

Who? Can anyone come in with a poor owner and a team of misfits?

Which of those three points do you disagree with

    2nd and 3rd.

Not a good season. We lost.

Re-group. With who? Most are freebies and loans.

At least you didn't say your favourite phrase. Well Done ?????????.

    Thank goodness.

Think it's very likely he will be. Has been on top of his game all season.1error doesn't change that.

You forgot that he was in a no mans land in a recent home game producing a goal for the opposition? He's too slow to be in the middle of defence.

Would be great to have a rousing chorus of Sammy Hutchinson pre match on Monday.

Let’s let him know we love him and remove any demons that linger from his mistake.
Positivity all the way for the lads - it’s one of those games where we cheer everything the team does - the old Carlos speech comes to mind .

    COME  ON WEDNESDAY

I don't believe that he can recover in 3 days. It's too short a turn around for him. I understand fans on here love the guy, but he cannot be the center of our defense on Monday.

Not gonna lay into him. He’s been a rock all season

I’m sure he’s feeling bad enough as it is. We need to get behind not just him but the whole team.

Hopefully, he's rested for Monday's game.

Exactly the reason why I hate the pig run star.

Hutch makes his first major mistake and up comes this crap paper to jump on and ridiculed two days before our biggest game of the season.

Hutch wears the heart of the team on his sleeve, a leader  this year and should be captain with his will to win.

Expected better of you Joe Crann !!!!!

Tempers are high, go watch the pigs

1st major mistake? Wrong. I can't remember which recent game at home he screwed up, but it led to a goal for the opposition. He tries hard, but he does not have the legs anymore to chase the ball. He should not be the main defender protecting the rear-guard. I like Hutch, he plays with his hand on the badge. However, it's time to move on. Sorry Hutch, but it's time for us to move on.

I would put forward the argument that this attitude is naive and a reason why we get so many meltdowns after a game if we have only one one nil even though we got three points

It's a self entitled unrealistic viewpoint in my opinion

When we were relegated we had serious serious issues, and putting together a brand new squad at the last minute and trying to succeed in this league was always going to be a massive task.

But some fans just disregard any obstacles, reasons, logic or understandable challenges and instead just say 'nahhh we should be automataically promoted because we're a massive club and our wage bill is highest'

    It's naive

I don't always agree with you, but I do on this one. The club was banned from buying players due to the owner and his finances. It's difficult to go out and get players with your hands tied. I was not a fan of Moore in the early days, but he's grown as a manager and his tactics and player positioning has improved except for set-pieces. I hope we can finish the season being promoted. If we do Neil it will be a Well Done Mr. Moore. UTO!
