  1. All the compassion articulated here is repaid by ............

  3. Exactly to whom should I speak face to face. Not sure how I get an audience with Mr Bruce. I think I am genuinely missing your point.
  4. He doesn’t need to put football before family. Just take an hour out to agree the terms which agents and the club will have done all the work on. Whilst tragic, his parents died 10 and 7 months ago respectively. Does this really mean he can’t spend a couple of hours on the phone finalising the deal if he really is enthusiastic about the job. He can start at a date and time to suit himself. I feel it is more likely his agents are still turning the screw harder to get every last penny from the deal and have told him to sit tight and let the media/social media pressure on the club increase. Get real people , he is a hard arsed football pro who knows how to demand a wedge and has agents who use all leverage possible to get the extra 20%. Please quit with the bleeding heart stuff.
  5. The balance of probability is that I was a Wednesday fan before your mother finished school. Of course I could be wrong. In which case we can reminisce about the good old days before the inter web.
  6. Is it just me that is beginning to question the commitment and motivation of a bloke unwilling to get his fat gammon faced multimillionaire arse off his sunbed and finalise his £2 million per year contract. Doesn’t come across as keen and hungry. Comes across as “nice top up to my pension if they are stupid enough to pay me” Ive got a bad feeling about him. Have the agents fleeced DC again?
  7. The sale of the ground would just swap one asset ( the ground) for another asset (cash) for the purposes of FFP. It wouldn’t help in the slightest. Ok if we get exceptionally technical it may help slightly, but certainly not to any meaningful extent as the income from the sale wouldn’t count in the FFP profit and loss calculation. If anything it would simply indicate a more sinister intent on behalf of DC. Eg asset stripping as he knows he can never sell the club and get his investment back. £200 million price tag !!!! Lol
  8. Summary, we tried hard and got lucky. If we all say positive things it might help appease the football gods.
