Wouldn't a playoff place be 'on track' for us this season?

After the absolute car crash of last season, the mass exodus of expensive signings, and having to recruit half a squad of freebies and loans, I'd take that.

Many of us were genuinely concerned that we were about to plummet through this division at the start of the summer, so it seems odd to be turning out noses up at a playoff place.

I suppose it depends what your track is.

We seem to think a play off place is the be all and end all without ever actually aspiring to a top 2 finish.

A bit like Arsenal when all they wanted to do was finish in the top 4.

  2. I mentioned this a few years ago and got slated for it.

Press conferences used to be for important news, new chairman, big new signing etc. Now they have them to announce player x has been to the dentist and may be doubtful for Saturday.

Having said that, don't they have to do them due to League rules?

    'clubs will drop off'

But we won't playing like that.

Did you enjoy watching us today.

How many times have you enjoyed watching this season?

It's not about enjoying it apparently, it's about watching absolute dog poo and getting 3 points.

    Big D isn't bothered.
