  1. No doubt "the pack" will descend on me but I really don't see the point of this thread, DC has another business "meh", I don't really see how it "gets worse" the newspaper article is dated November 2012 but the sleuths on here are talking about a company that was formed in 2013...and as it as been pointed out, the name was changed years later. pointless thread
  2. I read an article at the weekend that their latest accounts showed that they lost around £34 million last year (as opposed to losing £4 million the year before) , this was offset by player sales of £25 million, so they made a loss of £9 million. Add to this their chairman has loans to the club in excess of £100 million, a lot of this secured against the ground. Obviously they are currently in a better position than us on and off the pitch, but lets just dispel this myth that they are this amazing self funding club, they are not. They are over £100 million in debt and could be
  3. If you have a google of Brentfords finances, you might be in for a shock
  4. Brentford's owner has put in over £100 million so far and they have just posted a loss of £9 million for last season. Not my words, that's from a news report a couple of days ago
  5. I've only ever been a free member..some of the prices they send out are unreal....and I expect they will be even cheaper in the coming months
  6. For those of you who aren't in the loop https://jacksflightclub.com/
  7. reminds me of that barnsley player yesterday, dike. never seen someone so big fall over as many times, think he spent more time laid down than he did stood up.
  8. I'm going to get slagged off to high heaven here but what a load of rubbish crann and miller are worse than howson used to be at the star Pretty much everything they write is a copy of owlstalk members contributions....sometimes word for word millers pieces are just non stop metaphors, its like reading a novel (a poor one) one of cranns first stories in the star was littered with factual errors..he even pmed me to apologise as he'd just googled things. ffs
  9. wow, presumably you forgot the court orders against this site and the request for information about posters and their personal details I'm logging off
  10. DC is the biggest villain we have ever had at the club? have you heard you self? we have had a chairman suing fans for disagreeing with him, we were on sky news about to be put into administration...and thats all in the 10 years before DC took over, have a word with yourself
  11. I get your point completely but no chairman in our history has faced the difficulties he has this last year
  12. Hmm Cardiff/ Wembley difficult choice for a comparison but also the context is missing
  13. I do think Chansiri has made a lot of mistakes, but all well intentioned. but also I'm a bit miffed about the context, we were the only club in S Yorks not visit the new Wembley, that changed under Chansiri..to even suggest that DC is a worse chairman that Allen is incredible. yeah we are probably going to be relegated, it wont be the first time and it wont be the last time. No chairman in probably 99% of most of us history of supporting the club has had to over see a season where no supporters are allowed in the ground.
  14. It seems the vast majority do agree
  15. and all I'm saying is stop stalking me FFS
  16. I'd like to say that you are getting tedious but you are not, you are tedious now, not getting there At no point did I say he was worse than others on the pitch, I just posted a few observations on different things
  17. I think that the vast majority of people would think (and its shown in this thread) keeping monk was a disaster and cost us dearly
  18. what a surprise, the first reaction. care to counteract my point? with discussion as to why I am wrong?
  19. Some may not be popular...dont get personal. There is obvious talent in some individuals but we are a million miles from being a team and I think that's the problem, we just aren't a team. recent managers have pointed out the imbalance in the team, but the one who had the chance to address it..Monk, made it even more unbalanced. The confidence, zero confidence in the players is leading to mistakes amd opposing teams are playing on this. the ref, what the f? constant stop start, no game changing decisions..other than a clear pen when rhodes was kick
  20. he signed a new contract so he has resale value. more the others did
  21. I don't think you could blame Westwood in a million years, it was a reaction save and an incredible one at that
  22. Have a look for the Bodega bars, a lot cheaper...some are a bit rough and ready but the locals are friendly enough (if you can tolerate the smoke) The beer is excellent, proper Tuborg and Carlsberg, not the stuff you get in Wetherspoons. Stopped in a place called Borkop once in a different part of Denmark, when I ordered beers the barman asked if I wanted to roll two dice to define the price of the beers, or pay the pump price. My mate got his round in and rolled the dice, and it cost him less than half price on the throw of the dice, my luck being as it is , it
  23. Not really sure why the wilder love in he's broke pretty much every premier league record (for being crap) is it circa £150 million in transfers he's spent? and taken the pigs to being the worst ever premier club on record? rhian Brewster , 20 appearances for Swansea last season and 10 goals Pigs buy him for £25 million and he's made 20 appearances for the pigs and not scored a single goal the myth of wilder
  24. completly agree, his record is spectacular. he's broke so many records this season it's unreal or spectacular
  25. the thread is asking for your best please dont derail
