Interesting listening to Darren Gough on talk sport yesterday talking about how he'd heard that Wednesday turned down Nike's offer of manufacturing the first team kit and training kit even though they offered the biggest deal outside of the premiership.

On this day 40 years ago, despite losing 0-1 away at Exeter, the wonderful Wednesday club of Sheffield were promoted from Division 3. What a time !
