  2. Seriously, even in the 70's, I was never actually ashamed by Wednesday, never actually embarrassed I am now at the stage where I don't even want to talk about the club, bar with other Owls fans. That , today, was a Wednesday fans recent bloody life in a nutshell Hope, followed by acceptance, followed by the grinding, heart wrenching crap Chansiri has brought to this club. His name all over the ground, f.ookin' companies that don't bloody exist, and now a team that turns up as often as a bloody D-Taxi Its beyond a joke Take your money Chansiri, take the ground Chansiri, and I hope you take your "advisors" with you....See if they know as little of Tuna as they do of football. I look forward to the empty sodding boats trawlin into Phuket.. Phuket?...thats how I feel at the minute What a bloody abysmal club we have become

  3. There’s no point debating today’s performance. There’s no point debating Thompson’s team selections Theres no point debating whether the players are good enough There’s no point debating the tactics. The culture of any organisation is set at the top. The strategy is defined at the top. The big decisions are made at the top. Chansiri is the man at the top, an alleged control freak at that, so the buck for all of this stops with him. The poor recruitment, the head coach out of his depth, the squad that mostly know theyll be playing elsewhere next season, the lack of any consistent style or brand name of football from one season to the next... it’s all ultimately down to Chansiri and he has failed spectacularly. He needs to hand over control, and preferably ownership, or the club we all love is in danger of dying. I genuinely believe that. So the only thing worth discussing is what can we do about it?

  4. He can't say much can he - he's not a manager; the rest of the management team aren't up to it. They've been thrown to the wolfs by DC on a cheap option. The players DC's assembled are like him, mentality weak and general absent when it matters. 6 years of DC and we are a empty shell of desperation and apathy across the club.

  5. The sad reality is that I am beyond caring. I don’t feel any anger after today. Just indifference now.

  6. Do yourselves a huge favour Call a family member or close friend TONIGHT and get them to call over to your house at the earliest convenience And get them to help you disable your internet banking Because it's only a matter of time before some con man empties you of your life savings as a result of your gullibility

  7. I know there is a lot of negativity towards Thompson after last few games but I really feel sorry for him. Better, more highly paid managers than him have struggled with this shower of shybo!!

  8. Why is everyone turning on Chansiri, he didn't put in a spineless performance.

  9. Seriously are you joking ? There's no positivity around the club and it's down to this bell end.

  10. In all my years watching Wednesday I have never seen a weaker, more spineless, inept team than this shower.

  12. Why would a manager like Cook with a fantastic managerial record want to work for a muppet like Chansiri?

  13. You look at that screen shot and your first thought is that Luton are the defending team......

  14. And ..thats what we do...ridicule Owls fans with a different view...and thats the sole reason WEdnesday fans couldn't run this f.ookin' club...Seen it with almost every organisation we have had haven't we? Fans have different breaking points...Give 'em time..and FFS! remember the Owls fan that sits next to you...might disagree with you..but He's an Owls fan...that makes you the f.ookn' same!

  16. This is the big problem now isn't it? The badge The name on the shirt The name in the stand The attitude that he's right and everyone else is stupid. He's made the club feel like Chansiri FC and therefore it's becoming difficult to support the club and not feel like you're also supporting everything that's been wrong. Seeing people saying they won't spend another penny at the club. I'm sure many won't follow through with it long term, but this time, if we're relegated, I think thousands will. Do I think there's a way back for Chansiri if we go down? Yes, there is - a proper manager and a chief exec/Director of football to run things properly. Do I think he'll go down that route? Not a cat in hells chance Too stubborn? Too stupid? Too skint? All 3?

  17. When Luton come from 2 behind to win then yes, it's all over.

  18. Yeah, as the three goals went in during that second half, I didn't get angry like I have in the past when things have gone against us; I just sat there feeling a bit numb and unsurprised by what was taking place. It's a weird feeling after years of investing so much emotionally in our club, but that's where I'm at. Perhaps it's psychological self-preservation?

  19. The idea of spending money on this at the minute seems absolutely laughable. Not a f*cking penny from me. Chansiri only need ask and I’ll send him a picture and my full name so he can personally blame me for all the clubs ill fortunes during his next baby tantrum.

  21. doing a job he never applied for with coaches he didn’t select. A bit like Bullen I feel he cares more than most and yet he’s judged at same standards of people that applied, were selected, were paid more, were better assisted.

  22. Don't spend a penny more on the club while he's destroying us. No iFollow, no tickets, no shirts, no merchandise, not a penny. It might take us to League 2 or non-league, but one day the clown will realise it's not worth the hassle and cut his losses. We might still have a club to salvage. Every day he stays in charge is another day nearer SWFC ceasing to exist.

  23. I was scared by how many Wednesdayites were hoodwinked by Chansiri's money when it was apparent he was only taking us in one direction. Now I'm scared that Wednesdayites think relegation is the worst thing that could happen to us. Whether we stay up or not - and I still have a sneaking feeling we'll scrape it - our club's very existence is in peril. Because of Chansiri. I haven't spent a penny on the club for a year now, and won't again until he has gone. Anyone still buying iFollow passes - remember that money is keeping Chansiri here. Defund him. When lockdown finishes, hound him out. Protest like Charlton, Blackburn, Bolton, Wigan fans have. Don't sit back and watch your club die.

  24. At half time I expected us to win. I’m f**king 60 years old and have watched this sh ite for 53 years. I’ll never learn.

  25. No he's played the part where he didn't invest in a relegation battle and still not named a manager after 3 months. Thompson is out of his depth.

  26. With the COVID restrictions now is not the time. We do as a fan base need to do something though when we are able to and I don’t just mean a handful of people under the South Stand after a match. As a fan base we have been far far too passive in the past, no way would the pig fans or Leeds fans put up with the crap Chansiri is doing to the club if this were happening at their clubs. It needs to be properly organised. Possibly a mass boycott of the opening match of the season, a series of projectors around the ground (like Leeds did) or a plane with a banner for example. If fans don’t force the change, I can’t see there being one. It’s just so frustrating that the pandemic is stopping us letting Chansiri know exactly what we think of him.

  27. The culture at this club translates onto the pitch. No leadership, no direction, no plan and no quality. All down to one man. He sets the tone.

  28. Not ashamed, just not interested. This isn't my club any more. Chansiri has ruined us in ways that I never thought possible. If he'd come in with a remit of destroying us completely I doubt he could have done it any quicker or more efficiently. He has spent an absolute fortune for nothing. I hope he leaves before we cease to exist. My fear is that he won't, he'll hang on til there is nothing left then walk away back to his multi Millom pound life like nothing ever happened leaving us with nothing but memories. I feel as low now as when DA and his mates were taking legal action against our fans. I never thought we'd plumb those depths again. Thanks DC.

  29. Thompson has made a real hash of things recently, but it's worth remembering that he never asked to be put in this position and is simply trying to do the best that he can with the cards he was dealt. Chansiri decided to stick with our U23s coach rather than employing a permanent manager. It's negligence, plain and simple.

  30. Three times we will have been in League One in 16 years. We’re destined for mediocrity. It’s time to face that this club is absolutely shafted and is more likely to be wound up than it is to be in the top flight again - there’s only one thing that’s massive - and that’s the fanbase. We’re the only thing to sing and shout about in this club - we’ve pulled us through the bad times, but this is absolutely the worst of it, the worst it’s been in 32 years of supporting this team. I cannot believe this man has continued to invest hundreds of millions and never learnt his lesson and is probably never gonna see a 10% of that back - that’s the only happiness I’ll get out of this, he’s completely p1ssed it away. He won’t sell us, ever - as above, we will fold before he hands us over at a cheaper price - what a dent to his pride that would be. I don’t even know what I ‘care’ about Wednesday any more - it’s not the team, I don’t identify with the ‘brand/club’, it’s not the manager, the coaches, the chairman. Nobody at the club - nothing. When we came up from League One I identified with the spirit, the brand was revived, Megson, the team of warriors, Mandaric - the chairman - everything about it, the club was both the fans and the club. Now it’s just a club I happen to support ran by a Thai bloke I don’t give a throw about. The fans need to rally, we need to stick together. The club however, is gone.

  31. It's not all over though, is it? That is just the mood that everyone is feeling. As bad as things are, we are still six points away from escaping relegation and other teams are not really pulling away. There is still quite a lot of games to go and things can still be turned around.

  33. Because its OUR bloody club mate... Whats the option, ? Let him run it into the ground? Sadly its time to hound him out I wouldn't mind if he interacted?, but he doesn't, meet us halfway?, but he doesn't Its sheer arrogance, He's taken a stance, he sees us as a bunch of little soldiers who should simply stand mute and do his bidding... That was the whole "2 minutes silence for the Thai King" malarkey..... "Look what I can make them do" The whole "CHANSIRI" plastered down the North...It should say "SHEFFIELD WEDNESDAY! WE stood there and watched all this...did all this outta respect for his culture..What has he given back?...a total disrespect of ours...."Customers"...I mean FFS!..."CUSTOMERS" I was more upset when me cat died than when the Kng of Thailand shuffled off...be honest Prices, that he sees as less than loose change, when it actually pays our f.ookin' electric for a year WE are going to have to fight for our club, cos he is doing sod all, he is appalled that we have the cheek to question him.... THere is a line in the sand being drawn.....and we have to meet on it...or we have to step over it

  34. Maybe aim your anger at the person who's thrust him into the job Shouting at Neil Thompson right now is about as noble as walking up to a 7 year old who's been made to run a bank and karate kicking them in the face for not knowing how

  35. Ashamed, angry, embarrassed, feel like crying. That’s how this club is making me feel. Football should be an escape from the crapness of day to day struggles, this club just make things worse.

  36. Yes, I'm sure that a manager who won 2 home games in a year, failed to manage a single point or goal from successive games against Luton, Rotherham and Wycombe, and persisted in playing Dawson whilst ignoring Westwood would have had us flying by now.

  37. The day Monk decided to go with Wildsmith and Dawson as our first choice keepers has f***ed us up as much as the p!$$ poor recruitment in the close season.

  38. Said it in a few threads but today's performance was the least of my worries. I genuinely fear that we won't have a club within 5 years, probably more like 3. DC will hold on until there is nothing left then walk away back to his life and family money. He is incapable of listening to anyone who knows what they are doing. The fact that he has followed advice over and over that has led us to this point shows me that he cannot or will not listen to anyone other tham paxo or whatever his name is. Their names will be forever remembered as the 2 who killed Sheffield Wednesday football club.
