  1. That the club have launched a new Supporter Engagement Strategy to spend the next few months playing tunes while the Titanic sinks I can't believe any fan or fan group has got involved in it. You're legitimising the club and it's leadership. You shouldn't be talking to them. You should be demanding they leave and stop damaging our club any further

  2. You're absolutely right. We should watch our club sink once again into the mire, and do absolutely nothing about it. Don't protest, in case it upsets the man leading us into the crap. Just accept our fate without so much as a whimper Grow a backbone man and get angry about the man leading us headlong into obscurity Not someone who's been telling everybody for the last 4 years where he's taking us and is as pi ssed off as everybody else that he was right.

  3. Posts like this. Who the bloody hell do you think you are? You should do this and You should do that. You're not the messiah @Grandadno matter your delusions of grandeur. We are on the slippery slope and relegation is surely favourite now. You obviously fancy a bit of placard waving and shoe throwing and that's fine, that's your thing. But please stop with the rabble rousing. It's not going to help. It's never helped any club in the precarious position we find ourselves in. In fact, where Chansiri is concerned, I'm very confident that your kind of protest will leave us worse off whe

  4. Our defence is the third best in the league at home, and the ninth best overall. Lees is one of the few players who has been OK this season. The comment re centre backs being some sort of creative force in the team is the same debate as was raging when we were struggling for goals in the carlos second season. For some reason people advocated the issue was the centre backs and we needed a 'ball playing' one to replace Loovens. Our problem is goalscoring - we are the lowest scorers in the entire football league. That is the job of pretty much everyone aside from the

  6. Engagement? Hes had nothing but engagement and a very warm welcome from (the vast majority) of our fans since he arrived (and rightly so). But where has that engagement and support actually taken us? what has it achieved? You point to 'my way' being one of protest and that will endanger us. How does seperating the stadium from the club (and then using it as collateral with the big business equivalent of a payday lender), incurring points penalties due to financial mismanagement, refusing to trade players, refusing to provide commercial offerings at an approp

They came up against a side that had lost three in a row and once again showed they are the perfect opponents for a team facing any kind of adversity. In the first half,

  10. Neil Thompson is a good man who's been forced into a position because the chairman can't find a manager willing to come here Anyone having a pop at Thompson needs to wind their necks in a bit and appreciate the situation

  11. Tom Lees performance has gone well down and he's past it. Negative play, lacking confidence, backward passing, dodgy play and needs replacing. He has a better presence in their box than anywhere near ours. We need Hutchinson to take that place and sure up the defence.

It's important to show him total respect because he's got a bit more money than you. Know your place. Keep doffing your hats and bowing and scraping and accept anything thrown your way. And always always ALWAYS remember to give him a standing ovation at fans forums"

  13. Anyone with even a crumb of sense can see the club is dying under Chansiris tenure. There’s really no point debating that, or how it’s got to this stage. The only question worth any discussion now is what can be done about it.

  15. The guys been hung out to dry. He's been made to be the fall guy, he doesn't have any prior experience of managing in the Champ and has been made to do it under horrendous abandonment from the chairman. I feel for him, it's no surprise at all he is out of his depth. He's done excellent to win 5 of 10 Championship games and helped us avoid almost complete embarrassment of finishing on a record low points total or something. But overall Chansiri has symbolically left him to take all the blame.

  16. He is strangling the life out of the club day by day. It just feels like a total lack of respect for his own position. The list of his mishaps and general incompetence is endless. He has got no idea (or doesn't care) about the club's values and traditions. He doesn't understand the game he has invested in. He's played with fire RE FFP and has got burnt. He doesn't learn from his mistakes and to be honest it doesn't look like he even acknowledges that he's made any! The succession of poor managerial appointments. The lack of ability to tie our best young p

  17. And presuming I had anything left in the tank, I would be putting in an emergency loan to bring Nuhiu back to help us stop up We are probably 7-10 points worth off without him. Leading the line, defenders hanging off his shoulders. He’s worth a few wins alone. He kept us up 2017-2018 with that ridiculous end of season form. That goal against Preston Biggest mistake of the season letting him go

  18. TIME OUT Can everyone just take 5 minutes here and remember that we're all Wednesday fans, we all want the same thing? We're in a really crappy situation and people have differing views on how to solve the situation There's no reason whatsoever for anyone to be bitching at each other, or having a pop and falling out If this were a conversation in a pub over a pint we'd all be having a laugh and being sound with each other So be sound with each other on here too. No more personal digs - let's just be reyt with each other ffs

  19. "Don't then be two-faced when he puts his hand in his own pocket AGAIN, and we stop up cause of it..." Even ignoring the obvious cashflow and financial restriction issues, what would he be able to spend now that might save us? Bribe some referees? Bung Liverpool to make Mo Salah a free agent? His Twitter handle ought to be more like @terryfuckwitt75951588

  20. I think any Thai stereotypes, saving face etc isn’t really relevant. Facts speak for themselves. Whatever nationality the chairman is - he’s done a terrible job.

  21. Football is such a broken game. He purposely, with zero intent to play the ball, took him out and injured him. Of all the red cards we've had this season (ignore the last man challenges), not one of them had the intent that one did yet they get reds and his challenge gets rewarded by putting us down to 10 men.

  22. DC's destruction of this football club has played out in such a way I'm wondering if he grew up as a Blade. Price out casual fans and hire a succession of managers that play "boring" football. That way, no young Sheffielder will have any interest in supporting the Owls, especially not in the wake of our city rivals having a golden period. Disillusion dozens of local and loyal long-term employees. Never follow through with the promised substantial investment in the youth academy and training ground... that area of the club that's about 30 years behind the modern game can

  28. It doesn't need to really be said, but we have a mentally destroyed group. It's why I'm so against giving players like Bannan (for all his genuine on-the-ball ability) the captaincy. It's why I keep arguing Tom Lees has the heart of a mouse. Why Hutchinson is overrated. Why Reach is such a shrinking violet. These players are just not winners. Maybe on an individual basis they are. Maybe if you stick separate the group and put them in different teams in a fresh environment, each would have the required grit. But as they are, they just don't. The play-off defeats proved it.

  29. This is why a mob of people outside the boardroom entrance won't work The last time Chansiri was forced to speak he did so as a result of stuff in the press He's acutely aware of things said on here, on social media, in the press - he has people monitoring and reporting straight back to him So.. The effective way to make things happen is simply to keep the pressure on in the press, on social media Not in terms of relentlessly posting "chansiri out" - that will do nothing Instead - simply posting what the chairman has promised vs what he's delivered

The thing's I'm reading in this thread are more along the lines of a battered wife with a broken nose, two black eyes and blood streaming down her face running up to people saying 'don't upset him! you'll just make him angry again. Just keep your mouth closed and make sure his tea's on the table by 6pm'

He didn't wake up one morning and say, " I Love Sheffield Wednesday ! " " I Love the fans " he didn't give a throw, he's been led by the nose by " advisors " and thought he'd become part of the Thai Success story in British football so he could swan about back home.

  35. Chansiri has run the club like he was the number 1 customer Complete lack of understand for the area, the city, the people it serves, the community it galvanised One bad decision after another over the course of his tenure, piece by piece being chipped away. The club has lost the identity that was respected in the game, it’s soul Worst case scenario We will lose generations of fans because of Chansiri, if there’s even a club left to come back too Absolutely grim

  41. Reach won't struggle getting into any championship team. Time and time again he's produced on the left but managers insist on putting square pegs in round holes and playing him CM. He's wasted his career here, he should've gone when Southampton were rumored to be in for him, he'd have settled in the prem.

  46. This is all his doing. The lack of quality, direction, strategy and plan off the pitch and it directly translates on the pitch. It’s a team which is a product of the environment he’s created. He has been a disaster. Incredible incompetence. Very dangerous this man was allowed near a business of this size. The EFL fit and proper test need to be checking this kind of thing. It’s ruining football clubs.
