  1. Why do people feel like we’re been victimised here? Just get the bl**dy accounts submitted and face up to any potential sanctions. If it was another club we would be rightly aggrieved - we’re becoming a byword for incompetence (at best) or underhand behaviour (at worst) and I’m sick of it.

  2. Surely time to give him a run of games. Was excellent when he came on, holding the ball up and drawing fouls. Made it stick up top when for 80 minutes it kept coming back. A part of the game he never gets credit for. Thought we put some decent crosses in today but nobody looked like getting on the end of them. Give him a go.

  3. So they're proud, they've got last season's blades back, yet they're now further away from safety than they were before they beat Man Utd. That's pigonomics.

  4. A positive Sunday morning post: 1/ Ok so if we took back the 6 points stole from us to give us our true position and therefore an accurate reflection of our abilities then we would be 18th in the league. 2/ We are the 5th most in form team of the league. 3/ NT is in charge and has a 100% home win rate (3 wins out of 3 in 1 month), compared to monk and pulis who managed 3 wins in 2020 (a whole ******** year). 4/ Hutch is back. Come on Wednesday. please feel free to add to the list

  7. Yet again an attempt to de-stabilise the club. We can manage it quite well without any outside interference thank you.

  9. No problem mate ask some on here, good strikers are 10 a penny and will come on less wages than what Nuhiu was on. My question to all the Nuhui haters is where the f.. K are they then?

  12. Top lad. Absolutely chuffed to bits for him. I hate it when people slag him off. Been here for his entire career. How many others can we say that about. Plus a great guy to boot.

  15. How can you possibly enter into a restrictive clause like that - what is the suggestion, you play the loanee regardless of his performance levels - ridiculous. Brown has played once for Chelsea, as a sub in 2015. He's 24 with little prospects of playing for Chelsea in future. Shows how mad football has become when the so-called big clubs have these demands for players they really have no interest in.

  17. A lot was made about his errors when Pulis brought him back. 3 errors in 3 games etc (when he'd played once in 12 months) Well, to now put some other statistic out there. This season (excludes Swansea away where he came off after 10): With Westwood - 10 points from 6 games (5 conceded) Without Westwood - 12 points from 19 games (20 conceded) Now obviously its not as straight forward as that and far more comes into results than just a goalkeeper. But in the interest of balance, its worth acknowledging.

  18. If I was the owner of another club that’s sticking by the rules then I’d be sick of Wednesday and Derby by now. Its gone beyond clever accounting to bypass P&S. Its straying into taking the p*ss territory. Ultimately it undermines the competition, no doubt.

  20. I must be out of touch then because that’s exactly what I’d offer a 19/20 year old kid thats just broke into the first team, maybe stretch to £2500. Not many had heard his name until last few months, and if there’s a kid in the under 23’s tearing it up week in week out you get to hear about it. If the lad keeps up his progress and develops into a proper first team player then he’ll be paid to reflect that. £10k a week 4 year deal now is just stupid.

  22. Matt smith out of contract in summer and hardly started at Millwall this season. Makes Nuhiu look like an 18 yr old Michael Owen but would prob be a better option up top than we have at the moment , and also a good player to thrown on as a sub .

  23. At least NT has sorted the home form. In 2020 (in 1 year) monk and Pulis managed 3 home wins between them. NT has managed 3 home wins already (In 1 month) from just 3 home games.

  26. At the moment, I simply dont care about who is the next manager, whether we get relegated, if we win lose or draw this weekend. Chansiri & his incompetence has sucked all the enthusiasm out of me for whats happening at S6 right now. I'll re-engage once the fool and his advisor have been purged from my club, be that in L1, L2 or even the Highland League. Its not the club that I grew up loving and under Chansiri's stewardship has no plan, no morals, no integrity and no soul.

  28. Getting Wigan players in makes sense. They're used to not getting paid their wages.

  29. Yes, he shouldn't have been that far forward. It was a throw in for us 10 yards from the corner flag so only 2 players should have been in the box, 7 players should have been on the halfway line waiting for them to counter.

  30. That wouldn't be out of place in one of those books my wife reads. "His eyes were hollows of madness, his features cruel, yet handsome. "Oh Courtney", she gasped, as she admired the broad acres of his magnificent chest..." Old Courtney's eyes'd be hollows of madness if he'd got my wife tapping him on the shoulder in the middle of the night, I can tell you.

  32. Delighted for him. Despite criticism or doubts over the years, Palmer's been a good solid reliable squad member for us for a long time. Hard to get excited or happy about anything Wednesday these days, what with our clueless owner; DC's advisory leeches, points deductions, wages, the stadium sale and things but even despite all that, at least the coaches, squad and youngsters, are stepping up and still giving it a go. The life and fight may have long gone out of DC and the club but Thompson, his staff and the players are still making an effort in unsurmountable circumstances.

  34. Our academy is not that bad at producing players. We are just terrible at holding on to them. In recent years; Dawson Wildsmith Beevers Wood Spurr Urguhide Clare Shaw Hirst Palmer All have, or will go on to have, respectable league careers.

  37. Only a good decision in view of the dogshit shortlist compiled by stuffing boy. Wish Thompson well and don't hold relegation against him Remember, when results go against us, he's not a manager, not asked for the job, been asked to help out and been given no additional back room support or players.

  38. Jimmy Smith! Brown isn't playing because every time he's been given a chance he's been poor. You can see he's got something in his locker but he's so laid back he's almost horizontal.

  39. I mean with or without FFP we're not spending any money, FFP has been relaxed for this season, we're desperate for players to stay up and we've spent nothing In my opinion, DC is flat broke
