If Bannan signs a new deal, he should be considered a Wednesday legend. He could easily get another Championship club and get away from this absolute basket case. Fair play to him if he does. Been dynamite for us.28 points

If Bannan signs a new deal with us under current circumstances then you've got to take your hat off to him.22 points

Dropping Lopez for Hutchinson cost us the play off final15 points

I see these "beware what you wish for" posts a lot Tell me. What could be worse? We are on the edge of relegation to the 3rd division (again). The club has lost its stadium, is playing for snookers with FFP meaning we can't bring in players to get us out of the mess, we have 15 of our first team squad out of contract and free to leave without a fee in the summer, we have no manager, no genuine sponsors injecting cash, we are struggling to pay our players, we are struggling to refund our fans, those fans and many more are completely disengaged. Its hard to see how Neil W13 points

I'm genuinely shocked how people are getting excited or calling it new it's not It's just putting back in place the stuff that Chansiri tore up and threw in the bn13 points

Some Shiite gets posted on Owlstalk. Members who post Clickbait waffle/nonsense should be banned for a week.11 points

I guess the phrase of the week in the in the USA is Working Across the Aisle. This generally involves constructive compromise. My suggestion is that DC and Paul Cook get on a call and try to reach a compromise. Cook wants the authority to bring in players whereas as DC wants his Advisor/s to do this. Surely some form of Steering Group at the top of the club could be established to work jointly on recruitment decisions?10 points

Yes, another Steering Group is the answer to all our problems.10 points

I think Owls loyals been taking it up the aisle from Paul Cook .....9 points

The way some have been building Cook up on here I’m surprised Cardiff haven’t gone for the Scouse Pep.8 points

Imagine being a fan of team signing reach and googling his highlight real you would be creaming your pants some of his assists and goals have been nothing short or world class I’m not making out he’s a bad player by no means I want him to sign. He’s never going to break a leg in a tackle or get you a diving header through a crowd of swinging legs but the lads got quality in a delivery and finish that few in this division can match hes always available to play and he gets some miles in on the pitch for me he’s always better on the left7 points

I think you’ll find that’s called acknowledgment and what I took from that is they will be announcing how they are going to engage when they have formalised plans to do7 points

REVISED STATEMENT "We thank you for sending the open letter and are pleased to confirm a revised strategy on supporter customer engagement as we navigate some of the most challenging times in the history of our club. The last thing we want is for a single supporter customer to feel disengaged or disconnected, particularly during a crisis that continues to engulf our city, the country and indeed the world. Every one of our loyal supporters customers can be assured that we are trying our level best to meet these challenges head on and we agree that a new engagement strateg7 points

If Chansiri ever gets the money back he gave to mandaric for the club, when he sells, he's done well. Whatever he's spent since is irrelevant, he's wasted it.7 points

Its not about the player for me. It's more about how thoroughly and unquestionably f@cking inept the people running this club are. There is seemingly no bottom to how absolutely amateurish we can be.7 points

Hello all, As you may remember the SWFC Supporters' Trust wrote an open letter to Mr Chansiri in later December. The letter was signed by nearly 6,000 people. The letter is available via the link: https://www.swfctrust.co.uk/news/open-letter The club have emailed an official response, which you can read below: "We thank you for sending the open letter and are pleased to confirm a revised strategy on supporter engagement as we navigate some of the most challenging times in the history of our club. People going off like we're going to be pinning our hopes on him every week and building a team around him for the next few seasons and he'll be on huge wages. In fact should this happen I suspect it'll be the exact opposite. Short term deal to the end of the season on much lower wages. I think we have to realise our situation here. It's all about the next 4 months and staying in this division, everything else takes a back seat to that right now. We need players who can slot in and do a job from the off. Hutchinson may not be the future but he fits the bil6 points

You’re not wrong about a sense of entitlement. Watford fans think they are entitled to being top of the league whilst playing like Brazil. Any decent football fan realises when clubs get relegated from the PL it is difficult to bounce straight back again. Yet Ivic had them 4 points off the top 2 with 24 games still to play, whilst being without the likes of Deeney, Gray, Sarr, Hughes, Capoue for many games. Yes, clearly Ivic has a defensive style which is different to what Watford fans are used to. They are used to losing cup finals 6-0 without a defence. But Ivic has been succe6 points
