  1. Just seen an outrageous video posted by the Star headed ‘This was the scene outside Sheffield Wednesday ground on Saturday’ The footage shows a minor disturbance outside the Rawson Spring Hotel. Message to the Star. We know you have an agenda that likes to stir things up against our club. But please the Rawson Spring is not outside Our Stadium, rather it’s at the far (east) side of Hillsborough corner, roughly three quarters of a mile distant. Sheffield Wednesday cannot be expected to be responsible for policing the streets so far from the stadium. Stop y

  6. https://www.theguardian.com/football/that-1980s-sports-blog/2020/feb/04/arsenal-won-fa-cup-four-replays-sheffield-wednesday Will bring back memories for many. Highlights to me how the FA Cup has been ruined, there was no need whatsoever to change anything about it.

  8. That's not necessarily a good thing, throwing money around without a clue has resulted in us having to sell our ground and fudge our accounts to come in line with the league rules. Pisspoor when you think he had a blank canvas when he came in.

  9. I think the early bird season tickets is asking a bit too much from the fans here. We've just had what has felt like the longest month ever and we need to renew already. At a minimum the club should allow up until the last day in March to renew at the same prices as last season. Also, it's now important, given our current league position and the our recent form, what the situation is with the EFL. Will we be starting next season in division 3 or will we have a 21 points deduction, basically meaning we will be in division 3 the season after. I do

  11. Richards gave us the best players, manager and the best years the club has had in living memory. The only trophy we’ve won in the last 80 years was under Richards. He took us into Europe and to two other cup finals. And the kop was seated and south stand redeveloped under his ownership. There’s plenty you can criticise him for but you have to remember that aswell. Chansiri hasn’t achieved anywhere close to what Richards did at the club

  21. What in the name of all that is holy do the club think they're playing at putting this monstrosity on social media? 'Reachy'? Bloody 'Reachy'?! These kind of cringeworthy nicknames are usually the domain of United fans who feel that referring to 'Clarkey', 'Sharpy', 'Duffs' or 'Hendo' creates some form of bond with their porcine idols. I can't believe Wednesday would stoop to their level. Crap football, expensive tickets, and transfer embargoes are one thing, but this? This is unforgivable.

  22. Went to all but should have won it in the first replay at Highbury! John Lowey (rip) put us 0-2 late in the game only for it to be controversially disallowed. Injury time equaliser from Liam Brady took the game to Leicester amid scenes of absolute carnage on the Clock End as both sets of fans piled into each other!

  23. In a nut shell. The problem with Wednesday is the fans too...alot are happy to watch shitevery week and think 'oh well'. We have got some right apologist as fans.

  25. I wasn't badly written, it was perhaps ambiguous and taken out of context. look at the original post, and look at the post beneath it, do you think anyone who had allegedly slurred a member of our services who had fallen in battle, would have posted the one beneath it? it was ambiguous, and it was taken as criticism of the young man, those who did so misunderstood my posting. IF I HAVE IN ANY WAY OFFENDED, HURT, OR HARMED THE YOUNG MAN'S FAMILY OR FRIENDS, I APOLOGISE WITHOUT RESERVATION, it was not intended to do so.

  26. Far too much sentiment anyway. I want a bloody clearout. Fletch and Fox can stay on the right terms and the rest can all go. Honestly, don't care if they have been "good" servants or not. This clubs needs a refresh and a rethink.

  27. Just my opinion of course, but we've got to stop being sentimental. Hard I know when we've supported some of these players for years. Too old, too slow, not enough quality.....take your pick, but we've got to let go. Football is a young mans game, built around pace and power. We need to clear the decks and get in the game.

  38. The thinks is with Dc, he is very stubborn when fans pulled him over the coals in the last fans forum, his dummy came out and he was selling the club, then he denied it ever happened. We have been sinking since the Huddersfield semi final game, too many under performing players being allowed to do what they want for too long. We have debts we can manage, but not within the rules of the game (P&S), an aging squad that continues to not be offloaded, no players leave on fees or loans yet more have to come in to keep alive the unrealistic chance of promotion.

  41. If it was up to some people on Owlstalk we would still have Semedo, Reda Johnson and Miguel Llera. You have to base your decisions on what is best for next season and beyond. Think Fletcher been comfortably our best player so far this season but looking at his overall injury record and the fact he is injured again at the moment we have to move him on.

  45. Got injured 4 weeks ago today. 10 week prognosis, plus you need to add the SWFC minimum 75% extra, so he's pretty much out for the season.
