  6. Article says the transfer has angered some Owls fans? The only ones I know and also those I see on here seem merely to think it's hilarious.

  8. That reminds me; I must get out in the back garden tonight and burn my Joe Mattock shirt. I still haven't forgiven him after his move to Rotherham.

  9. Luton are a club on the up with a new ground in near future, I think he's mad to leave them for Stoke.

  10. You have to consistently sell your best players to keep finances coming in to allow you to keep the squad fresh. Makes me laugh how people on here think because we have a bit of investment from Chansiri it means we can just sign all the players we want on massive wages whilst at the same time not have any money coming in. Liverpool lost Suarez and Coutinho and they seem to be doing ok. Man Utd sold Ronaldo but apparently we can’t sell any of our players?

  14. Not using this as a stick to beat a dead horse, but as well as Hutch and Westwood, it's another highlight of what was going massively wrong with the old boss. I think the vast majority of us thought Boyd's time here was well and truly over, but fair play to him for taking the chance Bullen gave him with both hands. He's been great since coming back in, and it just shows what a bit of faith and confidence can do. It does sound like the new coaching staff are quite keen on Boyd too, could be like a new signing in the second half of the season. It's definitely looking better than it was a few weeks ago. https://www.thestar.co.uk/sport/football/sheffield-wednesday/the-remarkable-turnaround-in-george-boyd-s-sheffield-wednesday-fortunes-1-9527533

  15. https://www.thestar.co.uk/sport/football/sheffield-wednesday/sheffield-wednesday-target-defensive-recruits-in-january-transfer-window-1-9529058 Sheffield Wednesday are seeking to bolster their defensive ranks in the January transfer window, The Star understands. It is believed the Owls, who appointed Steve Bruce as their new manager last week, are keen on strengthening their full-back options. YUSSSS!!! Music to ma ears.

  26. It bears no relation to reality. According to the link, Adam Reach is worth £3.6m, Bannan £2,7m, Joao £1.8m, Dawson just £90k And Abdi £1.35m

  37. I came into contact with him when I was about 12 and he would have been 16/17. Proper bully. Dylan Kerr who was another apprentice at the time told him to leave me alone or he’d batter him. That was the end of it.

  42. Strangest squad number I ever saw was Jon Beswetherick wearing the number 3 shirt for us. This implied that he was not only a left back, but more importantly, a footballer.

  43. Shields keeps United and Wilder sweet by printing his crap articles every week. He's always done it. Earlier this year he tenously tried to link Gareth Southgates success with that of Chris Wilder finishing 10th. The bloke is an absolute ballbag.

  46. I believe it's a percentage of income. Unlike us, Norwich had income from transfers. Last year was about £34m, and this year £37m. Guess how much we had. With matchday income representing almost half our income, all this chart does is demonstrate just how poorly the club is being operated.

  47. I think that he is vastly overrated. He was the worst player on the pitch by a long chalk at the weekend, take away the long range efforts over the last couple of seasons and I think that you are left with a less than average midfielder/winger. I personally would take any offer around the £10 mil mark, that in my opinion give Bruce the opportunity to start the rebuild.
