  1. Sorry but that's a load of bull. Reach is being honest with the fans. We know the team under performed and weren't at the races from Preston Away onwards that was obvious for anyone to see. Yes we suffered injuries, but Reach is right in what he is saying and I'd say there was an element of that attitude towards the back end of Carlos' second year. We hit a good run of form, got a draw at Huddersfield and thought it was job done. We were outworked in the 2nd leg by a much fitter, more hungry team. The writing was on the wall going into CC's 3rd season. The players should take

  2. Reach mentally weak ? He was given the captains armband and tasked with single handedly dragging us through a long term injury crisis, all whilst playing multiple roles in the side Which in my humble opinion, he did very well

  3. You've got to laugh, Nuhiu bless him, didn't score for 18 months, had a decent end of the season and now he is indispensable. Whilst Westwood the best keeper in the league can go for the right price, only on owlstalk.

  4. An absolute disgrace we are paying him £60k a week, we'll never get rid, who ever agreed a deal to pay him £70k a week wants shooting, that £80k a week could be used on 3 or 4 decent championship players.

  12. I totally disagree. A player who was weak mentally would have hidden last year. Reach didn't at times he carried the team on his own. You might criticise his transfer fee, his wages but I don't think you can criticise his work rate, ability or mental strength.

  18. Two grown men offering each other out over a post asking about taking a 1 year old to a pre-season friendly against a Spanish team where the clubs response to the same question was to offer a discount on the most expensive admission price available which includes 2 courses of Yorkshire Tapas. Roll on the new season sharpish....

  19. Are people actually expecting Rhodes to flop at Norwich ?? Interested to know on what basis ? For me with the way Norwich play and with a decent direct winger in Marshall I fully expect him to start scoring goals

  24. Infuriating they thought that last season. Deservedly got egg on their face if that was the attitude. Probably from the top down it was no doubt. King Carlos to blame for a lot of that.

  25. Has Bully been telling Jos how well Hutch played at CB at the start of the season before last? Advantages are: - Its less physically demanding and so he should have less chance of getting injured - He got far fewer bookings when playing there than as a ball winner further up the pitch - He's got a great football brain and sniffs out danger there - In the middle of a back three he could really bring the ball out well like Stones in the WC I think the only real reason we moved him back to CM (against Fulham away wasn't it?) is that we had no one else w

  33. Sheffield Wednesday who play at Bramall Lane will be looking to add several players to the team for the upcoming championship season 2018/19. The Millers Boss Carlos Carvahal will be looking to strengthen full back positions primarily due to offloading Joe Mattock and Lewis Buxton who are now deemed surplus to requirements at the Lane. Meanwhile speculation still circulates around social Media about Jordan Rhodes, a player many Wednesday fans have been asking for since it was announced that the son of goalkeeping coach Andy Warrington would love to turn out in the famous Red and B

  35. Do remember one letter in the Green 'Un "£1m pounds for someone that age, the Worlds gone mad. It'll all end in tears" Then about two months later some French club had dipped their toe in with a £3m bid to take him back over there. Same bloke wrote in again "£3m pounds for a player of his age and quality what an absolute insult!" I miss the Green 'Un

  37. Lets give Palmer a chance this season before slagging him off again. Its a new start, the players look fitter and we need to get behind the team as pulling together should fuel confidence.

  38. Slate Reading, Hull, Swansea and Bolton for having carbon copy new build bland stadiums and then claim Pride Park is a good stadium. They're all the same ruddy stadium, just coloured in different and in a slightly different car park outside a slightly different town.

  40. Why is it a pain in the backside?. He has sat through 40 minutes of Rugby League (Not his or my choice) on his own seat without any fuss, he did have a rattle though. Shall I take the rattle away?, is that what the pain in the backside is?. Don't think you'll be helping with half time nappy change either be sounds of it. If i didn't believe my son could sit through 45 minutes of football without causing distraction or annoyance to other paying fellow Wednesdayites I wouldn't even be considering going to a friendly game. it's more about the pictur

  44. His original position at Chelsea and never let Wednesday down when he's played there. Seems to have a calmer attitude when playing centre half because he understands the extra responsibility he carries. Capable on the ball too - more and more important these days. Able to bring the ball out and set up plays. It 's a yes from me.

  46. Still to this day the best player I've ever seen in a Wednesday shirt. I spent so many hours as a kid trying to master the Waddle shimmy when we were playing football down at the park. If only someone would have told me I was better suited to centre back!

  47. Dress it up any way you like but we are weaker with the departure of Hunt. When Jos first took over he gave Palmer a run of games and then did the same with Hunt. Jos chose Hunt as his first choice wingback as Hunt's performances (after a poor start) went upwards and Palmer's went the opposite way. Palmer was well and truly second fiddle when Jos made the call to go with Hunt. I think this decision did Palmer no favours and resulted in his absolutely shambolic performance against Ipswich where I actually felt for the lad. Jos did exactly the same with Nuhiu, Joao and Rhodes. The first two
