4 pointsWhy wouldn't people buy a shirt? It's just a flipping tshirt. I wouldn't wear it to go to the pub or to a wedding, but I don't understand why all these sourpusses reckon grown ups can't wear their club colours.

3 points*There are a lot of threads on here that should read. Curse these extra fingers.

3 pointsTo be fair, that is an old photo. Taken about 1975 I think from the clothes.
-
3 pointsThe hilarity! What happened last season will stay with us, like the 93 semi, for the rest of our history..... And because of that, we'll make sure it stays with them for theirs!

2 pointslistening to RS last night & hearing all chezzie fans crying over Lester leaving got me thinking about how badly Pressman was treated by Chris Turner towards the end of his career. 15 years of service, thousands of fans waited after final whistle to say bye & Turner wouldn't let the players back out v QPR. Bet I wasn't the only one fuming? Lester has only been at Chezzy for 6 years, Pressman was 15 years & stayed with us during the good times in the 90s when we had a top side & also when we were absolutely poo under Turner.

2 pointsWatching the Tranmere game, have to say been very impressed with Palmer so far, looks like playing first team football this season has done him a world of good He is always available for the pass and hasn't given the ball away once yet. Mixing up his passing by playing some good chipped passes forward and in the channels as well as keeping it ticking Gets up and down, knows when to burst forward and when it breaks down gets goal side. His closing down has been good as well Hopefully can continue improving and be in our first team in the short future Keep up the good work Palmer...

2 pointsIf he does not replace Amtonio this could be the least creative team in the living history of football Simple Dave make a mess of your next few signings and its Gillingham next season. I honestly believe our current squad with no Antonio is relegation fodder

2 pointshttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7tMsFmXtN74 Owls legend Fred Spiksley in action. The old bloke showing us how to backheel. He died in 1948. Possibly our most famous ever player.

2 pointsLoved watching Gerald. Most fans prefer someone with no ability running around like a headless chicken to players like him. People seem to forget the absolute dross he played with. Sums it up that this 'waste of space' left Wednesday and later played in the Champions league.

1 pointi really really hate the ghoul guy has never been funny hate when people use it as a smilie
-
1 pointSo there are loads of threads about Sheffield Wednesday's next match on a forum dedicated to Sheffield Wednesday. This is going to take some understanding.
-
1 pointMore members on here, than the Dingles get supporters for a home game. That's got to hurt. :Hirsty:

1 pointWe beat them away 1-0 with a goal by Reda and went above the Pigs into an automatic promotion place BUT they still had a game in hand - what would happen next - surely not!

1 pointLike it or not the green and white hooped shirt is well overdue a comeback.
-
1 pointNever said he was championship quality, just that he has looked impressive It is in League One but he has definitely improved as a player In terms of his shots, yeah dont disagree with your comment, but it is an encouraging sign that he gets in those positions for starters, nothing a few extra sessions on the training ground wont iron out... Still got a lot to learn, but he is young and eager, and like I said, has improved overall as a footballer If he continues the way he is going, and puts in the hard work, he will be a good little player in a few seasons...

1 pointThe North-west corner was built in 1927, halved in 1961 to make way for the North Stand you see today, and dismantled completely in 1965 to make way for the north-west corner you see today. The North stand was built in 1899 and lasted 62 years.

1 pointI'd like to see us use the all white 66 cup final shirts for our away strip if we do anything retro.

-
1 pointWho replaces Antonio? Has to be JJ if he comes through the internationals unscathed as he was unlucky to be left out in the first place.
-
1 pointI doubt you will lose money on that bet, as I expect the first goal to be scored before he comes on as a sub.

1 pointI remember it being popular. So popular, in fact, that once they started wearing it there was an annual clamour to get the stripes back. It should be left where it deserves to be....in the dustbin of history.

1 pointwe had one of those little tape embossing machines at work... the tape was yellow, same colour as rear number plates... i printed off a dozen or so labels (the size to cover the selling garages name) with BARNSLEY FC - INBRED SCUM... and stuck them onto as many dingles number plates as a i could at work, some were still on 18 months later... wondered how many cars had had some boot, or bin gobbed on 'cos of it...

1 pointNow I'm not a violent man but if I ever see that trumpiter I'm going to shove his trumpit so far up his trumper he wil be farting dirty red n white bstrds for the rest of his flippingtrumpeting flippinglife
-
1 pointJust me who thought he was overrated? My personal gripe was him wandering off the pitch at Brighton laughing as he passed the away support, we'd just got relegated.
-
1 pointWithout question when I started the "handball, handball " chant at Oakwell when their fans shouted for everything in sheer desperation.
-
1 pointAnd you see the likes of Reda and Llera called legends. What rounduns
-
1 pointI dont know if this has already been posted, I just saw it on twitter an thought i'd copy and paste it over here. surely the first 3 characters describe his team better than the last 4

1 pointThe fans who do not rate Sibon are exactly the fans who hold Lee Peacock in higher regard. Absolue morons who once again have lost sense of all perspective as they cannot get out their armchairs. For many years Sibon was the only player we had worth watching. He was a class act and he did try.
-
1 pointFantastic player, stopped us getting relegated for three seasons in a row. Amazingly skillful, one cup game when we played Leicester at home his first half performance was a good as any I have ssen at Hillsborough. It doesn't suprise me that some of our fans thought he was crap, seeing as he didn't run round like an idiot or clap the fans like a Madine or Peacock. That's how alot of them judge a players ability. Basically, along with Chris Brunt, the only player worth paying to see on their own in the last 10 years

1 pointWorst case (last) 22:43 South Bermondsey - London Bridge. (22:48)Northern Line 23:00 - Euston arrive 23:12. And for St Pancras, Same train, same tube. Gets there 1 minute earlier. Can't hold us back an hour. Surely. The trains from South Bermondsey are 13, 28, 43 and 58 mins past every hour for earlier.
