Horace Burrows played for Mansfield Town and Sheffield Wednesday. Burrows was a left half whose league career lasted from 1932 to 1939, his career was curtailed by the outbreak of WW2. Burrows also played for the England on three occasions. He made 233 appearances for Wednesday and was in the FA Cup winning team of 1935
