wednesdayok
Worked well for Michael Owen, Marcus Rashford, he's ready in my opinion

areNOTwhatTHEYseem
I'm sure those professional coaches who work with him day in, day out are best placed to make that call and will do so when the time is right.
Philb125
You're right - what's the worst that can happen.... Doesn't score, gets boo'd, leaves club, developes into international class striker, scores goals for england, leaves us wishing if only we'd developed him sensibly and got him there ourselves. Not saying he's ready or not. Just there are potential pitfalls to bringing youth in especially too early, in front of seasoned top quality players, with crowds demanding instant success. Miruic
I'll go with the opinions of the football professionals at the club who have worked with him closely over yours, thanks for sharing though.
Guest mrbluesky
Striker isn't the primary concern to be honest, my major concern is our manager thinks we only need two CB.

Worksop Wednesday
Might work might not, saw him at worksop on Tuesday , scored winner with a penalty so probably worth considering just for that ! Thought he looks very young, raw and probably be eaten alive by some defenders. Send him on loan somewhere, league 2 possibly league 1, toughen him up then look again. Youth often have pace as an asset on their side but don't think he got that.
mike84
I'm happy to wait until the professional coaches and managers believe He's ready. Also, which established, experienced championship striker would he replace?

Guest wilyfox
I'd loan him locally until January, then assess how he's doing. Donny, Chesterfield, Rotherham... take his pick, and get some mens football.

WhiteOwl91
Leaving out either Forestieri, Hooper, Rhodes, Fletcher or Winnall for an unproven kid would be ridiculous. If CC did that I can imagine Chansiri might be questioning him on why we've paid £10m for Rhodes...
flo
He probably will be given a chance this season.
Bluesteel
Would like to see him given a few mins in pre season along with Stobbs as we need a quick winger anyway. Would be a good test for them.

I've only seen him play twice, but both were quite recent. He doesn't look anywhere near ready championship football to my inexpert eye; others, more expert, feel the same. It might all be different after Christmas, who knows.
Prince
Give him a chance out on loan if our development team want him to get experience of the football league. If he was called George Smith nobody would be bothered anyways.
The Coorong Owl
Seen him on tv abit. As others have said needs some muscle and there's too much money invested in players in front of him. Hate him to leave though, I'd much prefer he stays, eventually plays and is better than his dad!
