Dan Gordon - Congratulations

Recommended Posts

On winning two BAFTA awards tonight for his documentary on Hillsborough that aired last year on BBC2.

A brilliant programme that told the whole story - and Dan is a big a Wednesdayite as you could wish to meet.

Well done again.

Did you submit your evidence in court zico?

Not doubting what you claim to have witnessed personally, but I can only assume you haven't been in contact with the authorities if you don't believe it was adequately discussed during the case.

Whatever your thoughts on Hillsborough please don't de-rail this thread.

Dan Gordon is without doubt one of the biggest and most knowledgable Wednesdayites I've met.

Congratulations to Dan on winning a BAFTA which is an incredible achievement.

Thanks mate - this is NOT another Hillsborough debating thread, it's congratulating one of our own on a brilliant award.

My friend did. He's not a bullsh**er either. Gave evidence both times, yet he's been made out as a Lyer. He will never forget what saw either.

Our club - you should try standing up for them.

was there that day and know what saw.

Have a chat with the folks who lived around the ground.

Have a chat with the residents of Oxspring and other villages en route from The Pennines.

Or do years of research like Dan Gordon did.

He supports OUR club.

Although I don't really get the relevance of that line.

Half way through the play off semis and this incredibly boring subject gets bought up again. To say it's boring and been dime to death would be an understatement

96 people dying at a football match is boring?

Wow

You know that he just means discussing this subject is boring. Not that people dying is boring.

If he finds it boring he should leave it to people who want to discuss it.

I find it fascinating.

Every away game I've ever been to I've seen loads of píssed up Wednesday fans. As far as I'm concerned it's a case of there but for the grace of God.

Or ask the people that was there not what some doctored files say. SYP have themselves to blame for the lies. but whenever I read Liverpool fans caused no part in the events that day? wake up smell the coffee

So he's not allowed to state that he finds it boring?

OK.

But we're probably not allowed to discuss it on Owlstalk anyway, judging by previous threads, so that's irrelevant.
