Fulham or Reading

Recommended Posts

Fulham, beat them and have the Channel 5 presenters in tears and black armbands for the highlights show later that night. Plus I think our style of play (with our first team!) would be more effective against them than Reading.

Really not sure why Fulham have been made favourites with the bookies to win the playoffs either, surely the team who finished 6th shouldn't be favourites especially when they need to face the highest placed team first.

Reading are actually the better side overall IMO; Fulham have more pacey attacking threat but our defense is pretty darn solid - scoring is typically more of a problem than conceding for us, and Fulham are definitely the leakier side. Reading would require more of a smash and grab performance, whereas vs. Fulham it'd be more a case of needing to play our usual style with our strongest team, and ensure we turned up on the day.

Don't care too much, the main thing is beating huddersfield so we get there in the first place. Theres isnt much between any of the playoff teams though which is too our benefit as this time last year the other three teams were all stronger than us.

Fulham seem to have the medias attention and given they seem to have plenty of pace that could be dangerous on the big wembley pitch as none of our defence are the quickest. Reading seem to have gone under the radar a bit which is odd given they finished third and have an ex man u man as manager, don't seem to have seen many of their game on sky or featuring on football league so don't know as much about their team as fulhams or huddersfields.

Fulham - We will be 3 - 0 up in the final ten minutes and it will be OLE OLE OLE as they cant get a kick against our FIRST - ELEVEN. As opposed to them playing keep ball against our second ten.

Either will be tricky for reasons already outlined elsewhere...

Though at least they will be on a level with us to a large degree, unlike Hull who were effectively a Prem outfit.

Bottom line, whoever it is, we'll need to play a lot better then we did last year.
