Best & worst away support at S6 this season

Recommended Posts

For me it was Burton Albion who really stood out. Not massive numbers but they made a right racket and stuck behind their team.

Worst, too many to pick from, but Birmingham were pretty pathetic with their fat lads down the front.

About a decade or less you could guarantee even the mid table teams or teams several hours away would bring 1500+ fans. Those same sort of clubs only bring half that and less nowadays. I guess the prices have a lot to do with it. And the fact we're actually decent as opposed to teams coming here and expecting to pick up points.

Villa by far the best, that opening game of the season was a cracker...forgot what it was like to have a full away end.

Rotherham probably the worst, heard there away support all shared the same uber?

Villa?.. there were some right bellends amongst their support

Norwich were very poor. Although you could hardly blame them lol

Cant remember a really good, packed, noisy, upbeat away following this year - Villa were loud but not really in party mood (again, understandable), and some of the turnouts this year have been hilariously bad. Possibly our pricing partly to blame but it does seem a lot of teams at this level don't really take much of a crowd anywhere any more..

Cardiff were terrible. For all the talk of how big they supposedly are, the numbers they brought were embarrassing. This is the club who would apparently need the Millennium Stadium if they ever got to the prem.  Decent sized clubs take good away followings regardless of how well they are playing.

tbh you can't blame them for not travelling - knowing that even though they had zero pressure and a safe midtable finish their team/manager would only be interested in keeping the ball out of play as much as possible and making absolutely no attempt to win the game.

God knows how they scored 3 at Huddersfield yesterday.
