Was listening to a guy today who was on about part of West hams problems on the pitch was down to scrapping Upton Park and moving to a modern plastic soul less bowl with no atmosphere and how spurs were going to play at Wembley while they had there new ground built and may have similar problems with the atmosphere etc.. With all this talk of maybe moving from Hillsborough it makes you think oooh do we want a sparkly new stadium, or just redevelope our existing ground?

Prefer we redevelop but due to costs, time and other issues (flooding, maybe for one ).

Sadly I think we will be forced to move.   Hopefully, we can build a more traditional stadium which will at least pay some homage to Hillsborough.

No one builds traditional grounds.  If we're forced to leave, we're un-workable.  Atmosphere (what little there is) will roger off forever.

Hope it never happens. With redevelopment to Hillsborough, we have no reason to move. The atmosphere and feel of being a wednesdayite would never be the same. Plus DC has stayed he is fully behind the redevelopment of the ground.UTO

We know the areas at Hillsborough where fans kick-off the atmosphere. That's why those people 'sit' there. Moving to another stadium initially splits these people up.

Setting singing areas, safe standing and sit anywhere sections could help these fans find their ideal seats.

'The stadium' doesn't make the atmosphere, the crowd does.

It really does have a huge part to play. Filbert street used to rock. Since we moved 200yds our atmosphere has been crap.

only since we won the championship has it improved. Mainly due to UFS a group of around 600 in the kop and L1 next to the away fans re inventing it's self. But for ten years it was poo .

Even the game we played you to stay up in the championship was a crap 1 up we should have been rocking but no it was flat. You lot won 1-3.

Bowls are poo stick with Hillsborough.

It's hard to compare old to new grounds because the costs have gone up. The working class have in some cases been priced out and this has meant the crowds aren't as loud - as the more well to do fan will want to sit down and enjoy be spectacle of the game and not the boisterous chants.

New grounds can be loud though. The club just needs to organise a spot in the ground for the home fan that wants to sing like it's an away game. Moving to a ground usually means these fans get spread around the stadium so there is no traditional area where the songs start.
