If someone said to you at the start of season our playoff rivals would be Fulham, Reading and Huddersfield you would all be booking your tickets for Anfield, Old Trafford and Emirates.

This is the best chance ever. We are bigger, stronger and better than all three teams.

All three will bottle it at Hillsborough. I think it's crucial we play the first leg at home again this year to take a lead into the second leg.

We could be playing teams like Derby, Norwich and Villa - who on their day have as much quality as we do. Instead, we play Fulham, Reading and Huddersfield.

We have won 6 in a row, probably should have been 7.

We will do this.

I said this earlier, we've found ourselves in a very unexpected playoff pack and it's a massive chance.... If anything g though, we've a team of midgets so bigger and stronger maybe not lol. But more quality and in depth yes.

Not true now.

Fletch, Rhodes, Reach, Pudil, Lees, Loovens all a decent height.

We score half our goals from headers now.

Yeah we're pretty strong aerial up front and at the back now and we're scoring some headed goals, but maybe that's down to actually getting quality service into the box again.??

Yes Im sure its both.

It is surely no coincidence that we started scoring all these headers when we signed Rhodes. We have played mainly two proper strikers and two proper wingers since then.

Either by instruction or just because of this line-up we are definitely getting more and better crosses over.

Wallace, Reach, and Pudil are putting some Marwood-esque balls in now. Our corners are superb, and praise the Lord we are putting long throws in.

Then, with Fletch, Rhodes, Lees etc we are going to nod plenty home.

OMG, Brian Marwood, I started watching Wednesday back in the 80s in the Marwood era bit of quality wouldn't mind him back out wide and in his pomp.

Lets not get in front of ourselves

This, nothing is going to be easy from this point forward.  The playoffs have a history of turning up shock results.  Brighton fans will have been thinking the same thing last season, didn't turn out too well for them did it.  Take nothing for granted

Fine line between confidence and arrogance, however, the OP is right, this truly is a unique opportunity. It's not as if we are playing a team of players who have recently come down from playing in the big game atmospheres of the Premiership, or a recent trip to a Wembley final. We will have learned from our failure last year in the final and take that with us into the play offs. Also, the league table doesn't lie. We are currently 1 point from finishing 3rd. There is nothing to fear! It may simply come down to moments of brilliance or bottle. We can and should compete on both.
