McRightSide
With Hudds and Fulham having the play each other putting Hudds in striking distance is HUGE for us.
stocksyuto
We can make 3rd but its a tall order because readings last 3 games are against relegation threatened teams forest, wigan and burton
Ever the pessimist
Would have preferred Huddersfield to win - think they would have been more likely to beat Fulham had they had automatic in their sights.

darra
Just looked at the stats Huddersfield had 3 shots all game with one on target which is obviously the one they scored with
RUMBELOWS91
It could have certainly been a lot different if Newcastle and Huddersfield had won. The Geordies would have been virtually there and Huddersfield would have been virtually secure in play offs, leaving them to relax a bit next weekend. Not now. Yep and udders have 4 games left so can still get autos but its a big if, they have fulham, wolves, brum and cardiff to play id say only the brum game is a easy 3 points for them the others are quite hard
nebneeb
The Huddersfield performance was weird. They would've know the Newcastle result and that should've got them right up for having a go at Derby. They got lucky with an early offside goal, then sat back and did nothing. Basically invited Derby to practice attacking against them. They'll surely feel they've squandered a huge chance to apply pressure on the Geordies. At least the 140021 unbeaten run continues. McRightSide
I'm more talking about increasing our odds of finishing in the playoffs...not 3rd
saf
What's the point finishing third? Wasted effort. Let's just make 6th. Any higher is nice but makes sweet fa difference to the fact there are two/three games to play after.
Kevan
I'd say the only thing we really want is to avoid Fulham in the play-off semi-final. If we have to play them, let it be the final where we will have the advantage of last year's experience. With the uncertainty regarding the remaining fixtures, we need to just go for it and see where we end up. With momentum behind us and players returning to fitness, we could have a real chance. sherlyegg
I would have liked Hudds to win, still going for autos when they play fullham etc etc, but hey ho, don't matter, owt can happen no matter what's at stake...the bookies must have made £ zillions out of this league this season
McRightSide
I'd rather have the team with the shoddy goal difference pulled into it

If Huddersfield lose against Fulham they'll only be two points ahead of them, they could be below us and only two points ahead of Leeds' in 7th. Therefore Huddersfield have to be up for it regardless therefore I would rather we have another team we can get above.
Ever the pessimist
True, although they do have a game in hand so can't see them missing out altogether.
