KennyPowers55
I know I'm replying to my own question, but I once carved an Owl in the plaster on the wall of the Globe pub in town. Got barred for it and you could still see it years later even after it had been repaired 1
Lincs Owl
Isn't this criminal damage? Shouldn't you be defacing your own property?

Without doubt some people who are are referred to "graffiti artists" have a great deal of misdirected talent. However, much of it is out and out vandalism. Why don't they paint graffiti on their own properties ?

Eastleigh Owl
without a doubt there's a place for the obvious talent some of these people have, problem is it shouldn't be on structures, buildings, bridges etc which have their own appeal but isn't it mainly the idiots who deface some of our great structures through tagging???? I don't know as i'm not that up to speed with this stuff, i mean, would Banksy spray the Wicker arches or would he show it the respect it deserves. Charles Monkey
It said 'OWLS' and 'EBRA' on a wall in Mosborough high street for years in the 1970's. Does this help?
np pontefract
The problem is that many, so called "graffiti artists" believe it is acceptable to deface public or private property . Let's not promote vandalism ! Some may think that public property belongs to no one, the truth is, that public property belongs to us all ! Dont forget who pays for the removal of these selfish acts........of vandalism !
